Thanks :)
I will call my hospital tomorrow and ask for the check up date.
Pain has been better today with soreness and a little burning but not to bad..
BM did hardley hurt at all and I still haven`t gotten more pain than before afterwards.
I will try to calm down. I am only 3 weeks out :)
I think what Fissy says is logical. Maybe is still have alot of sweeling down there.
anal flap" surgery hmm.. I wounder if they do that in Norway. Maybe that is what my CRS ment. He said that if my scar tissure continued to make problems he could to "scar-correction". Hope I don`t have to think about it :)

Had a very loose BM this morning and that me have burning all day..It has subsided now and pain is minimal but it is bedtime. Why do I always fell better when I have to go to bed??? :( My fissure was 2 centimenters long by the way. Extremly big. Maybe that is why I am such a slow healer. Has anyone else heard of a bigger fissure/ulcer?

Lars
My fissure was 2 x 3 when I was diagnosed in January - oh happy days :( I was giving birth several times a day Image
Isn't it normal that pain subsides by bedtime? Your butt has had time to calm down and heal a bit. That must be the reason why we heal slowly with fissures...our butts are in constant use. Everyone with medical training would say that such and similar conditions need to left alone to heal, but that's impossible with fissures unfortunately.
Liquid BM equals pain, I know. Have you tried vaseline?

lars i'm not sure how big mine is/was, but i imagine pretty bad since i've been in such pain for over 2 years now. mine was all the way down to the muslce also. the pain now feels just as bad as it did before my surgery so i'm not sure how much it's healed up yet. i also think there are so many nerves down there, it's hard to determine where the pain is coming from or how the healing is going day to day.
loose BMs (which i've unfortunately been having lately) also = pain all day long for me too. no matter how my BMs are though, i still have the feeling of inflammation and raw feeling all day up until just about bedtime. it's such a vicious cycle!
do you use anything for the pain? i'm trying to stay away from all medicine now but i used to use ibuprofen everyday.
i feel like we're in pretty similar situations...slooooow healing with lots of frustration after fissurectomy. i'm sorry for you too. Image we both HAVE to heal one day! how long have you been dealing with butt problems?? i know you had abcess surgery before all this too...

Yesterday I joined the world of living for a least a day. I had NO pain for the whole day :) The one bm that I had in the evening didn`t hurt at all.
I could sit, walk and drive without pain. Just a minor minor burning that I could feel if I sat down. I went to a party(didn`t drink alcohol) and had lombster for a meal. Bad idea since I have had 5 BMs today!!!
So pain and burning is back with a vengance :( I hope it only is a minor setback since I haven`t feelt soo so good for a year. I never had that good days before LIS.
Juney: Yes we seem to be in similar situations but I don`t have the same symptoms as you. I do not have the feeling of inflammation and raw feeling all day. After LIS it has most been the burning and some strange soreness( I did not have this feeling before LIS )that is bothering me. The dull ache that I thought was spasm pain has not returned after LIS so far! Thank god!
I have had butt problems with the fissure for a year now.... My abcess and fistula surgery was in 2003-04. After that I was living a painless and discomfortfree buttlife until last year in september.
Hope we heal soon both.. We cannot live like this. I pray each day before I go to bed that we will be painfree soon..
