I had my husband buy me some child size glycerin suppositories to put in to try to make the hard tip part soften up before I go but I haven't had a chance to try it. I wonder if that would help you. I figured since it was a child size, I could just lube it up and it should be easy enough to insert.

Just don't try the prune juice. Talk about acidic watery poo or maybe just a few sips. I drank a whole glass after my hem surgery and I heard my tummy rumbling and I spilled about 3 days worth of waste in that form and thought I was going to die!

Corsi, you can get calcium from other foods like dark green leafy veggies esp spinach(if cooked well, soft and great fibre, has iron)rhubarb, yogurt, tofu, beans, oranges, almonds(not for us maybe)sardines, salmon, mustard greens, turnip greens, okra, tempeh, soyabeans, calcium fortified foods.
hows the pain?

Just one small note- spinach although rich in Fe actually slows down absorption of Fe since it has oxalates which block absorption. Calcium also slows down absorption of iron so it is best to eat calcium rich foods separate from Iron rich foods (for example - don't drink milk with Fe supplement). Also , what I learned , coffee and tea slow down absorption of Fe and Ca, while acidic juices help with absorption. Orange juice fortified with Ca is perfect combo (we have that here in USA).
Hope this info helps Image
CORSI - how are you doing today buddy ??? I hope all is well "down south" ! Image Image Image
