Return to LIS - Considering surgery or already had it?

Right, that is what all of the docs tell us about Movicol, Tabby, as you know. One of my doctors told me that they even give it to babies.

Corsi-Even i feel the same as Tabby. You shouldnt try to stop anything abruptly esp after surgery.do everything the same way until your fissure heals.then you can slowly cut down on movicol or any other supplements.evn i wanted to stop movicol as i hate it too but i was adviced by everyone here not to do so and im glad i didnt.i will stop everything very slowly but nothing right now.ive taken movicol for almost a year.lactulose is mild and its better to stop that instead of movicol.you dont want to get constipated after surgery.its a good idea to eat soft mushy foods the first few days.
take it easy corsi

Love that siggy-Corsica. You are too funny!
Yes, I second the well wishes on your surgery and hope and pray that recovery and benefits are quick to find you.

One week countdown Corsi
How are you feeling ? Do you have a time slot for surgery ?

Time slot? What is that dear?
I still have pain and bleeding with BM, but I think my fissure must be relatively small because the pain during the day is less. More soreness... The pain is in the beginning of every BM - really funny!
