Corsi-Even i feel the same as Tabby. You shouldnt try to stop anything abruptly esp after surgery.do everything the same way until your fissure heals.then you can slowly cut down on movicol or any other supplements.evn i wanted to stop movicol as i hate it too but i was adviced by everyone here not to do so and im glad i didnt.i will stop everything very slowly but nothing right now.ive taken movicol for almost a year.lactulose is mild and its better to stop that instead of movicol.you dont want to get constipated after surgery.its a good idea to eat soft mushy foods the first few days. take it easy corsi
