We misss you here, Lars. You are too cool of a guy to continue to keep suffering with your butt. You need to get healed and go out and get a cute gf (if that is what you want). Image I hope your proctitis resolves quickly!

Sorry you still have pain Lars, but isn't it a relief that BMs are painfree? You should go to a specialist who deals with this. Someone who deals with Chrons and ulcerшs kolitt...
I guess you have researched already, but I found these...

What about the hydrocortisone suppositories? Maybe a course of those would help.

i feel EXACTLY the same lars. BMs don't hurt it's just the horrible inflammation and raw feeling ALL DAY after. i'm having a sigmoidoscopy tomorrow. i used hydrocortisone suppositories for over a month and after the first 2 weeks that stopped helping. i've felt this way after each of my 3 surgeries, none of them helped and the rawness/inflammation came right back afterwards. i understand your frustration. are you seeing any drs now? all we can do is keep trying to find answers and solutions.
and i too feel like i've spent the last year with "bubba" as a cellmate. i literally feel like a bomb exploded in my a** every single day. it feels like a raw mess, even though it looks "normal" from the outside. i truly feel your pain and i'm sorry for both of us.

I am still the same. Although yesterday was very good. I had very very little discomfort the whole day. But it is worse again today. The damn bm`s...
Have started to take probiotics twice a day and I drink ALOT of water. My diet is also very healty but it hasn`t made a difference yet.
I`m back at the CRS who didn`t wanna do LIS on me and he said with proctities you always take a biopsy sample. Didn`t have an exam I only told him that I was fissure free but had developed proctities. Will have an exam and the biopsy done in a couple of weeks. He thinks I have Chrons or UC but there is no way I have one of those.
Have started to going to a healer to see if this helps. She sees a irritated area on the right side inside my anus but it is not Chrons or UC. I have no one to talk to about this so it was great to talk a little with her.
I am feed up with doctors since they don`t take you seriously and cannot seem to help me.
Jobwise I work only 50 % since I am still to much in discomfort....

lars - i am convinced that we have the same issue. i am in so much pain and discomfort everyday, but then every once in a while i have a "good" day like you. did the healer see irritation in the rectum or in the anal canal? the canal extends inside the anus only about 3 inches. this is where my inflammation is, literally 1 inch inside the a**hole.
i think we have the same problem and the same symptoms, so i'm curious to see what you find to help you. please keep me posted. i drink A TON of water every day, and tea 3 times a day, and i've cut back on everything in my diet (i don't eat meat, dairy, citrus, anything acidic or spicy), i eat healthier than anyone i know, and this has not helped at all. please let me know if you find any relief!! i need help.

I have given up Juney... This will never get better no matter what I do so my only hope is that a doctor will do a colostomi on me and maybe remove my rectum if that is necessary. This is no life.
I cannot go to work, work out, party nothing... All I can do is lay on my sofa and watch tv. And this is because doing to the toilette and having one single bm destroys everything. It is so crazy that I don`t even have words.
So I don`t have any advice to give to. Sorry.... :(
