Corsi, I had little BM pain when I had my fissure, mainly spasms later but sometimes I would get the burning and it would last a long time. I had BM pain for about 4-5 days after the surgery, getting a little better each day.
Do you still have any BM pain?

Oh Corsi Image
I agree with Lecia for sure ! Do all you can to pamper that bum bum to the max !! Remember 6-12 months to regain almost full strength in that area …
I hope this is just a off time and that you will bounce back to healing Image I still have off days here and there Corsi but it doesn’t seem to hang on like before LIS when things were just constant
Just a thought but flaxseed will produce more bulk in BMS ! Be careful that you are not using too much bulking fibre Image
Sending lots of healing vibes to your toosh Image Image Image Image

Hey Corsi, I just wanted to say I hope you feel better soon. I too have some pain with BM's occasionally but it's to be expected. I would try not to worry about incontinence...the nurse at my surgery said her mom (88) had it done and never had any issues with it. I think everyone on here is right--we just need more time to heal.
Tabby---I have been walking at night too due to you advice and it does help!

It's more uncomfortable after BM, no heavy pain. More like I can feel it and have to rest and then it calms down if I do so.
Not Image (pencil thin), much bigger than before LIS, and yes it was Image last week, it was over Thursday. I also think stress has been negative for me, I have worked, been social (having friends here), + mental stress for different reasons, and that has caused worse eating habits or rather - meals have been busy...not chewing properly, etc. just throwing things down...
Love your avatar of course Image

I know what you mean Corsi, I had a busy busy week and ate fast, and to my dismay, I had a ripping feeling this weekend when I went. The pain didn't last long but I started getting upset. My fissure had started to feel somewhat better and I was afraid I ripped it again (worse than it is) but I felt better about half an hour later. I will be as careful as I can now!
How are you today?
