Hey Alpha! Today's the first full day of your healing and recovery - congratulations!
The pain killers made me nauseous and dizzy too, as you know (throwing up and pooping at the same time takes special talent!). So I didn't take them when I was alone. They don't do that to everyone - I guess you and I are just unlucky. I used ibuprofen and extra strength robaxecet for the pain. If you use ibuprofen, be prepared for a bit more blood because ibuprofen is a blood thinner. I didn't find that a big deal, just don't be shocked if there's more blood on the toilet paper. that worked for me, but I'm sure others will chime in with very useful pain-management tips.
Doctors don't typically prescribe antibiotics after an LIS (a few folks here got them, but my impression from what I've read here is that most people were not given any). Antibiotics can mess up the digestive system if they are not really needed, so most docs I know don't prescribe them unless they are necessary.
You're on your way to healing! I hope you are doing well today :D
