Day 4
BM nearly painless, but hurt a bit right after. A few hours later only discomfort. Soreness and swelling has gone down. Seems to be on the right track now...
Im still using diltiazem in the morning, and nitro at night. Going to reintroduce sitzbaths again in a few days.

Hi JHH,
You didn't describe Botox procedure as such. Was you down during it or awake? What were the risk you were informed about regarding Botox?
07.02.2013 - got open hemorrhoidectomy, leaded to slow healing wound. Link to story

Well... the procedure...
I was out. Half naked, legs strapped up in supports, and only me and 4 women in the operating room. Sleep well, one of them said, and I did.
Woke 45 mins later, and had a sandwich and some water. After that I left.
I was not told about any risks, but I did my homework, and learned that botox is a very safe procedure, so I just went ahead. I had to change CRS, cause the first one wanted me to stay on creme, and I wanted botox. So I switched hospital.

Day 5
No pain during BM. Felt the fissure right afterwards, as the muscle closed, but the slight pain was gone in 5 minutes. Rest of the day only discomfort and all sorts of funny sensations. Even walked 4 km without issues.
