Week 18
Thank-you everyone,I love you all. No problems, no pain on BM. Still at a Bristol 4. There are some weird sensations every now and then, but nothing major.Dare i say it... this is the best i have felt since having the Botox.
Thanks OMB for the tip, i will try it.I want this good run to carry on.I am keeping up with the routine and fighting all the way. I am off work on Holiday for 3 weeks. I am thinking about going away for a week, but i am really scared that it could upset things..... Ugh.

Rachael,
Delighted to hear you finally think your Botox is helping :)
As for those weird feelings I get them too but I just ignore them. I think with so much scar tissue down there it feels like the norm. I'm fully healed now but my CRS has said to be super careful for 6 to 8 wks the skin is very delicate & still healing so we are bound to get weird sensations.
Enjoy your 3 wks off work & go on that holiday you deserve it. 😊

Hey R :)
Im really pleased you are doing so well. Im sure you will be OK on holiday. Just keep your guards up, and stick to your routines!
Looks like us botoxasses have good succes at the moment, its really great compared to the lack of botox successes when I joined.
Stay strong, and keep up the healing!

Yes Rachael.... I agree with the others... Go on holiday. As long as you keep doing what is working for you then a break away can only be a good thing!!

Thank-you everyone.I need some kind of break.... The last year has been hard. My poor partner is under a elbow\Shoulder specialist. He has suspected Tennis Elbow, and is in pain.I feel for him, as i know what it is like to be in hell pain.We both need to chill away from it all! Hopefully next year will be a better one.
No problems, no pain on BM.Haven't heard from my CRS yet about the MRI.Hope he hasn't forgot me!! Might give his secretary a call if i don't hear soon...

No probs today. Just before BM I am getting a weird throb at one of the Fissure sites?! Not sure about this! It is my Birthday tomorrow. I am treating myself to a luxury pedicure. My Nitro is out if date... Need to stop using it really, but I am a bit scared! C'mon Fissures die, die, die

I hope have a lovely birthday tomorrow Rachael 😊
& enjoy that pedicure sounds like bliss.
I wonder if that throbbing is coming from Botox injection site??
Sometimes I could get out of the blue throbbing but feels like its from LIS site never last too long so I don't worry.

You are doing FAB my lovely!! Image
That throbbing & weirdness is HEALING - trust me and every other healed-being here. I'm pretty sure it's the scar tissue and everything else settling down there. I know I certainly had all that stuff going on as I got better & better....
Now :-
1) Get that holiday booked if you haven't done so already!
A change of scenery works wonders. As long as you stick to the golden rules - Don't get hydrated and eat majorly fissure friendly foods & pack your vaseline, you will be fine!
I just got back from a week in Scotland and I think I thought about my bottom twice ( Yes, I know I'm "healed" but I still act like I have the fissure at times, which I guess keeps me careful!) I'm off to Turkey in 2 weeks and I can't wait now. It'll be my first proper holiday away since the fissure nightmare and I'm going to party!!!
2) Relish every minute of that Pedicure tomorrow!! Heaven.......
3) Do NOT think about that fissure once tomorrow!!!! It's your special day and do not let that little b****r  bother you in anyway or distract you from having a wonderful wonderful day! Make sure you have a glass of something to celebrate ( just have your water on stand by too!!) My fissure ruined my birthday last year......Do NOT let yours!!!
I will be checking in to make sure! LOL......... x x

Chronic Fissure diagnosed December 2011
Healed by Diltiazem around Feb 2013
Anal Fistula followed burst abscess in June 2012
2 internal troublesome piles remain & suspected, but undiagnosed, ongoing Levator Ani type symptoms & flare-ups
