Okay today............... Seem to be getting back on track.
I have worked out that the monsters are like Gollum from LOTR. Sly, always looking to pounce and always wanting to take control.... So he is my new Avatar!

Great Avatar. He's tricksies. He wants to be with your precious ring (might have taken it a step too far). Keep on the right side of him or he will defeat you. He hates your filthy movicol. 1.5 now? I'm still on 3. But if it works then why change.
Hope it's all going well my dear.
Lots of love

Rachael, U wondered
Did you get a lot of minor re-tears? And did you use stool softeners?
I sure did, I ran the gamut of re-tears recurs "repeats", fissures on top of fissures (felt like it anyways), everything.
As for stool softeners I never went that route cause I always knew of a few natural foods that worked like lax's or I would just always go on a  liquid diet.
Yes, it was ultimately when I cut way back on the floury and salty foods that my recurs repeats and re-tears suddenly disappeared for good. Just wish others could do it with diet alone also.
Keep keep searching and tweaking, its "painstaking" to say the least, but it will be well worth it once you find the right routine that works just for you.
GL HTH
P.S. You know, I suppose in all those years of fighting my AF's , I could have easily said I need surgery because these monsters aren't going away. Good thing I was dirt poor and could not afford a doc. Just makes one wonder how many others (not saying that you could) would be healed with diet alone if they would be a little more patient and diligent diet wise.....

Thanks Welsh! I so laughed and laughed when I read what you wrote about Gollum! He ain't getting anywhere near my Ring! I have got to keep myself amused throughout this somehow ETO!!
Thanks BT, Good to know that you did it with diet alone! I have improved a lot since following the FODMAP plan. I am scared to stop the Movicol now though! And because of the IBS, I always have a big risk of Constipation, no matter what. Maybe I will need to take it forever, but hey I will if it means no Fissures.
Week 20.....
Seem to be okay(where is that wood).. I seem to have improved since the re-tear. Vit E suppositories are helping, more Magnesium too. Hopefully this will continue.....

Hey SB,
I do take magnesium, Doctors Best 100% Chelated magnesium.I have upped it to 4 a day, and my BM does seem softer. Although I am having 2 BM some of the days, which isn't good, as I get irritated on the second one. Maybe taking 4 with the Movicol is too much! I will Try 3 today. What type do you take? I did read that the Chelated is absorbed better than the Mag Oxide. you don't take stool softener then!?

Hi Rachael
I don't post much but I do watch others' progress. You have come a long way since we were first in contact. But I am sorry it has been such a rollercoaster recently.
It is my experience that setbacks are no more than that. We recver relatively quickly and soon carry on healing. That doesn't mean they are any less distressing and depressing when they happen.
I think I am healed at last but I don't feel ready to post my story yet. Don't want to tempt Providence!
What I have learned is that we are all different but that our bodies will tell us what does and doesn't suit us if we will just listen.
My best wishes for a speedy and successful end to your story. Allan

Thanks Allan, glad you are okay and are healed again. Well done.
No problems over the last few days.... BM is slightly smaller now I have cut back on the Fibre. No pain on BM. I have been almost pain free apart from a few twinges and throbs here and there. Vit E and Sudocrem are my new weapons! Kill em dead!
