:groan: :groan: Well seen the CRS this afternoon, I am having mixed feelings at the moment....

Healed on old Fissures, But I have a new acute one.... It is on the same area as the 7'0clock monster. He is reluctant to do the LIS as he thinks I can heal it with my diet... I told him I have worked damn hard the last six months to kill the suckers and now I have another one! Felt like screaming. On a positive, because i am doing so well on the FODMAP he thinks that something I am still eating May have caused the reoccurrence and he wants me to keep a food diary to try and nail it. He just doesn't want to cut me, at my age I have another 60 odd years apparently! Do I take this as the right thing to do!? Hell scared I will go back into pain and he is leaving me another 3 months!

 :~!@: as recently has been a stressful time, I think this has contributed to this, apart from not eat and die not sure what else I can do! :wtf:

He didn't mention more Botox at this time, and gave me a Bristol chart to see what I get daily with different food.he said ideal is 3-4 which I am getting 4 most of the time anyway! Ugh ugh ugh.

I may see it differently tomorrow, but i feel like I am back at square one... He did mention blood flow and tighter resting pressure, but wasn't too specific if this is me! :ashamed:

Oh Rachael, I'm sorry you didn't get the news you wanted to hear.
Does this new fissure hurt???
The old ones have healed?? If they have.... Kill the new one quick.
Use the diltiazem.... Up the water.... Super strict on your diet... And whilst it's still acute, you have a really good chance of healing it in a few weeks.
Huge hugs..... I'm also having a very stressful time at the mo... And I'm convinced it has a knock on effect with my bum.

Keep fighting butt buddy

Hey,
yes sometimes I am getting pain and the lady bits weirdness. Not as bad as before, but stinging on BM and soreness. Agh! He said the old ones have healed, but weird how this acute one is at the same site as the old one. He said he can see where the skin has healed,so is sure this is a new acute monster. I am doing the routine as always and I am scared to poop again! Ugh ugh ugh, Avatar may need to change back to the scream mask!

Hmm, does anyone know what causes the lady bits weirdness? By this, do you mind soreness in that area? Every so often I get some soreness there that feels like it's radiating from the fissure area - which is posterior.

Hi, vdb324, sound like you have some pelvic floor problems. This can cause a variety of pain, from burning to urinary urgency, even leg aches. Physical therapy can help but even insurance doesn't cover much of that so I just googled some pelvic floor exercises to do and they seem to help too. All the nerves in that particular area of the body are so close together that this problem is not uncommon. Suzy

Hey VDB,
Yes it is sore sometimes and I get a strange pain which travels from the Fissure. The CRS said because everything is so close it can cause this. It is so annoying. When my Fissures were at their worst I constantly felt like I had a water infection...
I hope you can get some relief soon. Xx
