Self anal dilation healed my fissure. If you search for my posts on this, and those of some others on the forum, you will see that it does help. I went through the mill before I resorted to this.

My suggestion, from previous experience, is to look on the internet and follow the instructions for each one. Also, take a look at the SIMILAR TOPICS below the post. Hope that helps!

I think you have answered your own question in the last sentence. But you could ask your doctor. Personally, I would leave it, let it heal. Also, look at the similar topics after this post. Something might be there.
