Ravi,
So glad to hear that you can avoid surgery for the time being. It will always be an option for you in the future if necessary. I think it is wise to err on the side of being conservative, as there are always risks with any surgeries. I have recently found a site for IBS help which I am hoping will give me some needed guidance as to foods and therapies.

That is good to hear. Fissures can heal on their own. Mine did, but it is good to know that there are options if you need to in the future.

Yeaaayyy !!! Great news Ravi - maybe Ganesh prayer worked ; ))) !
It is fantastic that you are not in pain - just NEVER forget that fissure needs about a year to regain its pre-fissure strength - so be very careful to continue with all that you were doing to help it heal. One mistake and you will have to start from the beginning : (.
Best of luck !!!

Fissulyna Yes Ganesh might have helped. I prayed to the other million deities who might have helped as well. --:)
It has healed in the past and come back with a vengeance. This time I am being positive because after being on this forum I am less stressed about it as people here have far more painful things going on than I do and my thoughts are towards their healing. I hope the best for everyone.
No probe was used. The CRS said that I he did not think I needed any fancy tests or examinations and he said that he did not think I had Chrons.(Don’t know what that is ) He said you only have a cut which has healed at the moment and keep doing what I was doing regarding the diet..

Ravi,
If you had Crohn's you would probably be having very bad ab pains and most likely very loose stools or diarhea. My younger son has Crohn's and it is a very bad condition although he currently seems to be in remission due to his current medical regimen. I am happy for you! Are you of Indian descent?? I am not familiar with Ganesh prayer.
