Glad you had a better day Hun, it's good you have a supportive team around you and the impromptu meetings are nice surprises for them...because you are a caring manager lol. I know work can cause a lot of my stress but unless I win the lottery I'm stuck there for now.
Goodness no I couldn't imagine staying on that diet helps your mood or your energy, we have to be brave with food I'm beginning to realise just not reckless. Sounds like the coconut oil is working for you.
Glad you had a good time with your son on his birthday...these fissure really can get in the way of our happiness so it's good when we get a chance to fight back

Sure I am a caring boss! Took bagels , soufflés and pastries for everyone while I suffered watching them eat it and made do with my little red apple ! Lol! But I did take a small bite of the mushroom cheese soufflé - delicious!
Doing ok today pain is 2 with BM and 1 for the rest of the day till late evening when it was a 2 again .
Treated myself to brown rice this evening . Hope it's ok!

Can I come and work for you please...we are lucky if we get a coffee made for us lol.
Oh no that must be torturous...you will end up hating apples soon lol do you have dark hair dark eyes and pale skin...thinking we could change your name to Snow White lol.
Really glad you had a better day with hardly any pain that's great. I'm sure you will be fully healed soon. Perhaps we will never be entirely 'pain' free in that area.
Hope the brown rice was nice...bet the soufflé was nicer lol
Here's hoping for another good day for you

Sure any fellow fissure sufferer who can take it with patience and a smile like you have been is hired - no interview required! However you IBS may not appreciate the meals I bring to work ;) As for me, I don't quite think Snow White had a tea spoon of olive oil after her little red Apple so I don't think I can change my name yet. Survived the post brown rice day - it's a long day and some soreness intermittently with some sharp twinges rarely. Overall decent day.

Hey that's great, I can bring my own loperamide wouldn't mind it would be worth it for the soufflés.
Lol imaging Disney character with a fissure now...princess jasmine would need a cushion for the magic carpet lol.
Glad the rice didn't upset you, gives you a tiny bit of variety. Yes I think long days do make a difference to the fissure...I hate when I'm at work more than 8 as you can feel the stinging starting.
Hope you have a great fissure free weekend

Funnily enough I thought about the princesses and how their fairy tales would change if they had fissures. Then I stopped myself wondering what has happened to my thought process . Now I see I am just in alignment with my fissure family here - nothing really wrong with me then.
Weekend was ok with pain of 2 ish totally bearable. Still with lentils, black beans and lettuce - bit tried some salads Mexican style with pico de gallo - that's tomatoes , onions , cilantro , avocado dip - was good
Also taking 2 to 3 tsp of olive oil with food. Coconut oil still for external application. BM stays softish.

Yes but it was a little more pain today - max up to a 3 - and though it was very very bearable - but it lasted longer and is a constant reminder to stay disciplined. I must say I do good overall but I think I ate too much. I researched low residue diet to see if that's better but do not think that's right for me. Well some ups and downs and definitely not fully healed but hanging in there and able to have long work days still. Staying positive.

Oh no, sorry you felt pain but glad it didn't get above a 3. It's so annoying to go through the day with a nagging reminder that we are not really better. I'm sure you will be though and very soon.
I hope you can start adding in a bit more food though as your diet seems quite limited but I guess we all have to be careful.
Glad your staying positive even pain is better than a spasm, and you are well on your way to being healed.
Hope today is better
Take care

Thanks a lot MPB. It's easy to stay positive when pain is constantly below 5. I am sticking to fruits, brown rice, lentil. That worked pain is below 3 today. I am using acacia fiber still. Oil as well.
I read the posts of some in terrible pain and that makes me wince. Hope they heal soon and hope we don't have to go back to the 12 on 10 pain days ever again.
Hugs to u friend
