Thanks all. Like expected I had a great day. Lots of sunshine, and no ass-issues at all. Even took the kids to the beach :)
I prelube every time I go. The more firm my BM is, the more its required. Im putting a huge blob up there to protect the fissure, and to make it slide out easier. It a slippery mess after each BM, but it doesnt matter, since I jump directly in a shower right after.
Yes, splinter, you can use vaseline all you want without worries.

Day 35
Bristol 6 again, and slight pain when stool passes the fissure. Had a tiny bit of irritation some time later. Guess its just the fissure reminding me to continue to take it easy, and drink plenty of water.

Hurt a bit more than usual, and have had lots of irritation durIng the day, but no real pain.

JHH
I have to say, this seems like it is the best you ever felt since joining the forum my friend. I know this diary has helped you stay above water and on track, even with a few hiccups.
I hope that this is only the beginning of a new chapter for you and that permanent relief and healing are on the horizons. You must have learned so much here and it will be a great help years from now when hopefully this will all seem like a dream (nightmare!!!)
