Jjh. Do you think your botox has helped any? Did you have spasms too or just fissure pain?

Day 15
Had formed BM again. It was softer today though. I had pain during BM, and for some hours afterwards. Wasnt as bad as yesterday, and was painfree at 14.00.
Hopefull, since sunday (day 11 I think) I havnt had burning. Now its another pain, like I have been kicked in the butt, with shooting pain once in a while. Im sure botox have kicked in, but Im still tight.

Hi JHH, no burning is a good sign. Hope you can continue to improve. I know that kicked in the butt feeling. I was getting it after BM quite a bit. Keep going!

Day 17
Seems like lactulose is starting to work. BM almost as soft as I like them. Regarding pain, it was yet another copy of yesterday.

Day 18
Was up very early because I had to drive my oldest boy to a football turnament. 1.5hour drive each way. I dreaded this day...
Well, I got up early at 5 and had a BM half an hour later. Not much, and not as soft as I hoped for. Even forgot to prelube in my hurry.
I felt pain right away, but managed the drive OK. Worst part was the standing/sitting for the following hours. Then the pain was worse than the previous days.
At 13.00 the pain began to fade, and the drive home was no issue.
Im going to up my lactulose intake to 25ml, cause I really need my BM to be softer. Will see in a few days.

Great JHH, a little progress is good. Hope the Lactulose is helping now. It just might suit you better than the Movicol. Fingers crossed! I am praying for you! Xx

I've been having 'formation' issues again. I find if I drink a large glass of water with my meal and then drink another one quickly after the meal this never happens. We're talking a good sized glass, almost a pint.
I was getting slack with how much water I consumed around meal times. I still drank the same amount (3-4L) each day but not focusing around meals causes the issue. Now soft as you like again!
Might be worth a try...

Hey Crackin. Nice to see you here again :)
I already drink a lot around meals, so no problem there, but thanks for the advise!
Day 20
Finally a good soft BM, with nearly no pain. Also after I had less pain, so it seems Im getting back on track.
