Igrik, when the first part af the BM is bristol 4, and after that it falls out as bristol 6. Like a plug :)

Hi JHH, the plug effect actually happens to me a lot too! To fight it I usually lube up with extra virgin coconut oil then after that add an additional coat of petroleum jelly. When I know my poop is gonna be hard at first I sometimes also use a coconut oil suppository (homemade) the night before to help soften it a little. :) I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip, but I get no warning, so its always a surprise what comes out. I do prelube with petrolium jelly though.

Hey JHH,
Sorry to hear your not having a lot of luck with the botox although its still early you really should have had some relief. Id say your plug effect is causing you all the trouble, this happens me and with my 2nd round of botox it was happening so often i got little to no relief so went for LIS. Im still healing but so glad i had it done.
I hope things improve for you soon it is very depressing at times.
Take care :)

Edel, yeah, I'm pretty sure I would have healed already if I had bristol 6 BMs all the time.
Day 26
Again a BM that started a bit firm, and again that well known sharp pain from the fissure. Had pain for some hours, but not as bas as expected.
It's strange cause after the BM, I do not get any burning anymore. The pain I get is more of a shooting pain into my right buttcheek, and it doesn't feel like it's from the fissure. Feels further up and more to the right. Strange...

Hope you are okay today JHH. Great that the burning is gone. I too had the shooting pains. Not sure if this is the Fissure fighting against the Botox. Keep your chin up.

Day 27
Nothing new really. Slight pain while having BM, and a little pain after for some hours. Still its the shooting pain thats most annoying. BM is still a bit more firm than I like.

My next appointment is in august, a little more than a month from now. Cant do nothing but wait. Even if I want LIS, I will have to wait for the botox to wear off.

Day 28
Some more pain from the fissure than usual while having BM, which was soft, but still a little formed. Pain after BM was like the previous days, although I had feared worse.
Im on 30ml laktulose plus 750mg magnesium plus 3 tbsp husk at the moment. On top of that, I drink 4+ liters of water. Dont have a clue why thats not enough to keep my BM like cowpad...
