Thankyou everyone. Love you all.
Week 14. Image oh no, I am so scared. I think the Botox has gone! Felt very tight today. 3 plugs, then pain, on the inside, stinging. Then pain after 1pm, still there now! Like an ache, sore raw feeling. I can't face going back into spasm and burning hell again. What the hell, no change in anything of my routine. I just don't think this monster is going to die. I am low again.
Image  had the MRI just waiting to see CRS again now.....

Don't lose faith Rach, stressing out will cause your body to stress and that's the last thing you want. Just keep calm, keep to your routine, remember - soluble fibre first, then insoluble - this should help avoid the dreaded plug.
Fingers crossed your MRI is good news.
Stay positive! Drink plenty and poop gently.

Hang in there Rach!! Image
It's all part of the healing - After the cream treatment had stopped for me, the intensity of pain stopped, but NOT the spasms entirely or the twinging/ aching/ soreness and some weird feelings of simply "pressure" ( I think spasms) in the area. That process took another few weeks - I think what got me through this part was the firm belief that although I was still getting this stuff going on and nothing yet felt "right" was that, that sheer hellish knife pain had reduced so much that I knew inside healing was happening, albeit slowly. I can't stress how much patience you need!! Don't forget, you have a chronic fissure (already confirmed as healing) and you are healing naturally rather than having undergone the LIS procedure. Full and complete healing of the area can take up to 2 years and that's not to say that it will take you that long necessarily. Also as the time progresses, you will feel that all these symptoms, although still there, will also reduce in intensity and one by one, they will pass until you reach a stage at some point where you feel almost normal and then "normal".....This is the joy of a chronic AF and you really are doing OK!!...I'm now 1 year 7 months on and only in the last month (and although confirmed healed) can I actually say that most of my days are "normal" and I feel like I never had the damn thing.....I STILL have occasions where I feel "tighter" or irritated after a more tricky BM and this is normal.(and positive in my view because it keeps you on your toes not to lapse back into old ways) One day, I really have hope now that this will go completely too.........
Just keep doing all the good stuff you need to do and always keep faith that you WILL kill the monster in time. If you don't strain that area, make sure the plugs (LOL) are as soft as you can get them and stay hydrated, it is highly likely that you won't retear. Fear will continue to make you feel at this stage that you possibly will with one bad BM but you will start becoming surprised at how much resiliance your bottom develops as it heals........Trust your in your body and stay strong!!!
