Hang on in there my lovely :)
Don't forget it's all part of the ride - If the pain hasn't got worse by now it's all good....Remember increased pain is not good - a bit of bleeding, don't worry too much. Your bum's been through a LOT and it's still healing down there. Just remember how much you have already healed!!! Remember your last trip to your CRS and those words that made you feel so happy that day. It takes ages as we all know.....
Try using a simple old soft pillow to sit on when you're driving and those beany type cushions are also really good. I've found these to be best.
Don't worry either if you stay on the 6 hrs a day at work - You just do what you need to do to deal with it all!
Keep kicking Rach! Day by Day, you're getting better all the time, even if it sometimes doesn't feel that way xx

Hi everyone, Thankyou for your kind words.
Last few days have been better, don't want to jinx anything! No pain on BM and little pain and irritation afterwards. Didn't think too much today about my bottom! First time in ages.. Maybe you are right ETO, just a minor re-tear and no real major problem. Please, god let this stupid monster heal fully!

Great news Rachael :) Must have been only a minor retear!
Remind me, why are you having a MRI? Because of multiple fissures?
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Hi JHH, having the MRI to check there is nothing else causing the pain. Then he will see me again. Yes 2 Fissures. Thankyou OMB. The past few days have been good, almost felt normal. Now I have looked back there and the 7'oclock monster is looking okay. The skin around the fissure site is all pink and looks new?! Is this sign of healing? I can't help but look, I want the monster dead. I am sure the Fissure devil is watching me, ready to pounce again! God I am going insane! Image

Rachael, sounds like you are healing Image
Guess you got a very caring CRS, having a MRI. At least you will know exactly what you are up against!
