Did you ask them about skin tag removal prior to being knocked out? Are you in the UK or where are you located? I hope the let you escape home soon!

Expect a fairly sore bum for at least a week if they removed the skin tag.

Im in the UK. Surgeon said its being trsted but he doesnt think its anything to worry about. There is gauze between me cheeks atm!

I was in for EUA EXAMINATION under anastehtic abd botox. Had the botox, but skin tag has gone too

Am home! Botox is in, had a suppository of metranidazolec and the skin tag or "growth" as the crs called it has been sent to Histology. Recalled in 3 months. He said I might be incontinent of flatus (haha) for a while.

It's good that you're back home now! My skin tag was sent to be tested too and it was a something-I-don't-remember polyp. Basically a benign skin growth.

I had some pain meds too, he didn't specify whether it was a suppository or not but it might have been, and my bum was pretty numb until the evening. I've not had any fart issues after the Botox but I find that BMs feel odd. Plus there's a strange pressure sensation if you don't completely empty your bowels.
You might feel rather bloated tomorrow due to the general anaesthetic...

I'll have my follow up six weeks after the surgery but I had it done privately and things may be different then.

Im starting to get uncomfortable, had paracetamol 2 hours ago; about to have ibruprofen. I removed the gauze and tape as it was uncomfortable and distressing me. I had a shower and am just watching dvds. No bleeding so far.

I wish i had asked if I had stitches or the area was cauterised. Nothing was said about stitches so they either dissolveable or cauterised. I will ask my gp next time I go in. I am surprised how well I coped mentally, no crying post GA. my pulse was 112 on admission.... hello anxiety!
