Re: Botox in 3 days

I was fairly uncomfortable for about a week. It wasn't that painful as such just uncomfortable. I only used Paracetamol and Ibuprofen rather than the Tramadol they gave me a big packet of.

I only had very minor wipe offs the first four days after surgery. As in after BMs.

Ha! Ha! My pulse never went below 98 the entire time I was at the hospital...

I think it was cauterised as mine was. I asked my CRS and he said that.

Watching DVDs sounds like a good post-op plan.

Glad it's all done now I'm sure you will start to feel better soon.
Try not to worry about the first BM and make sure you rest for the next few days
Well done

That sounds very painful! I never had that close a look myself after the surgery and have no idea what it looked like. The wife said that I had a nice bruising around the anus for a week or so after the surgery.

Im a) the nosiest person ever and b) too impatient to wait and ask the GP/whoever I see next to look through my notes. The discharge letters doesnt say anything, I have a copy for me and a copy for GP. Ive had 2 paracetamol at 1544 and 2 Ibuprofen at 1742 cos it was getting sore. No pain at all, just was uncomfy. Thats worn off, I just am slow to move atm!

I found it pretty painful to part my buttocks to clean off in the shower the first few days after surgery. You're a trooper!

I found that it was uncomfortable rather than painful too. My take on it was that I can't expect it to be totally painless/not uncomfortable after having my bum sliced and diced hence I didn't take any of the Tramadols. Did they give you anything more powerful than the Paranormal and Ibuprofen to bring back home?

I've got a diary here (in this general AF forum) if you're curious about my experiences so far.

Update time. 3 incredibly painful trips to the toilet. Using baby wipes as I cant cope with anything else. Lots of blood. Im drinking lots and using paracetamol and ibuprofen again. Not sure about work tomorrow. I was awake yesterday for 18 hours straight (guessing its the GA) - making up for it today by barely leaving my bed!

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. We were travelling home from Portugal yesterday and had big delays in Munich due to thunderstorms.

Use the shower or a portable bidet spray bottle to clean off after BMs!!!

How are you doing today? It sounds like you're having a very rough ride. I only had tiny amounts of blood on the toilet paper when I dabbed once after BMs to check for bleeding as there wasn't anything in the toilet. I got blood in the toilet once after a pee when I'd sat down for around three hours on day two after the surgery.
