Did they not give you a sick note at the hospital? You really need at least a week off work given that you sit at work.

I went to work today, drove in okay but people said my pupils werent matching! As I have a bit of a John wayne walk, im telling people who ask whats wrong that my back is bad (not entirely untrue). Havent managed to use the toilet yet, was dreading. Brought baby wipes with me as I know toilet paper wont be possible. Hope you are home safe!

You're tough! I wouldn't have been happy to drive or sit all day two days after having my surgery. I guess taking time off depends on your employer too but I think most are very sympathetic.

Blaming your back is a great excuse as it's none of their business. Have you had another BM?

I use this and it's excellent: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Xcellent-Globa ... et+sprayer
I use the carry case in public and have an empty water bottle that I fill up before I think I might have a BM. I contemplated simply fill the spray bottle in public but decided it's too embarrassing. I try to use a disabled toilet if possible as I can fill the spray bottle more than once if necessary. It's far gentler on your bum than baby wipes. If you use baby wipes, have you tried WaterWipes? I found all other brands burn.

I have managed to use the toilet now, same pain but no blood. Im using Tesco Baby wipes and they seem fine. Had to have a sleep when i got home from work as I was exhausted. Now going back to bed!

It's good that there's no blood with BMs today.

Is it painful during the BM or after or both? I was having full on spasms over a week after the Botox but that's stopped completely.

I had a setback when on holiday and the fissurectomy site is sore. I feel it when I bend or move weird when I sit and always when I'm on the toilet. No spasms or anything at all and I'm sure that's thanks to be Botox.

I have either got a cold, or am coming down with one. I feel awful. Can barely keep my eyes open, feel sick and headachy all the time. Urgh just what I need. Going to switch to just 1 laxido a day as I needed to go 4 times today. Still painful and bleeding, but copeable. Work is difficult but ive been in every day.

You're not coming down with an infection after the surgery are you? Keep an eye on things in that respect as it might be more than just a cold. I'm sure your CRS warned you about that risk.

I hope you feel a lot better soon! Switching to one Laxido a day sounds like a good idea. I used to be fine on one a day before the fissure recurred in late March. After I was an idiot and switched to lactose...

I'm in awe that you manage to be at work full days this soon after surgery.

Do you have a temperature? If yes, (I'll be a little preachy now!) call 111 right away and ask for advice.
