Thanks guys and gals for the kind words. I am still in the healing stage and sorting out what my next step will be. Both doctors think i have Chrons...sorry for the missspelling.
They both cant prove i have Chrons from the examination of the tissues removed. Its just a thought they both have come up with.
I may take steroids to speed up the healing process and or remove myself from the job. As you know things in the US are getting tough and layoffs are this week at my work. I dont know if i am on the layoff list but half of me wish that i am on it so i can heal.
Again thanks for all your support,
Bernard

Well, I don't think I ever wished for someone to get laid off, Bernard, but I hope you get whatever works best for you.
Are they going to run further tests to diagnose or rule out the Crohn's?
Good luck and hope you healing comes soon!!

Jo,
That is a pic of me when I was a frosh in hs for our homecoming court (attendant).
Bernard,
My son has Crohn's Disease and I consider myself to be somewhat knowledgeable about the disease if you have any questions. Feel free to PM me if you wish.

That is tough Bernard. To suspect a diagnosis but not have anything definitive. We all need an explanation for our suffering to help us mentally cope. Have you tried going to a holistic DO before? I am finding that with the MDs that I see if they can't fit me into a box then they write me off.
Maybe a layoff would be good because then it wouldn't be your fault or like you were quitting. I know the pressure can be tough family wise though. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Don't give up

I think sometimes regular doctors just like a reason for things, if you had chrohns there would be a reason you're not healing, it makes things easier for them!
I wish you good luck with your job - with the outcome you're happy with!
Hope things are getting better and your pain is lessening

Hi all
2 days since the surgery. My crs told me the reason for my fissure. After I healed from the fistula operation there has developed a lot of scar tissue and that skin cannot strech as a normal skin. Therefor a fissure opened. Togheter with a tight sphincter the fissure hasn`t healed.
My Crs cut away the fissure and sewed it together. He also did a LIS at 3 o`clock. I am having fissure pain after LIS.... :( Dull ache, burning, throbbing pain etc..
But I can now fart without pushing and I am feel lense down there :)
Praying that I will heal and become normal..
