How are you doing? Are you still bleeding? I had bleeding at 2 weeks post op too. I think I still had my incision as a matter of fact. I don't think it is long enough for the fissure to close properly.
I have not been on much, but your in my thoughts just the same! :)

That is very good news Corsi - as long as they (fissures) are on the "correct" location, they should heal eventually !!! I hope your bleeding is less today :paddysmiley1: Don't forget that you are very early into your recovery - please rest as much as you can !!!

Hello girls
The picture is from Corsica, think it is Ajaccio - Napoleon's birthplace. I have only been there once, and only for a couple of hours.
I bleed every now and then, and it is from the new fissure I think, and those days it feels sore and raw, but as you say - it's still early post op. I have to be patient, and remember that I have 2 fissures to heal, and that it will take time.
I do feel that things are slowly getting better for every day that goes, I think it is messy though and I shower my butty a lot!
I eat more normal in the evening and that feels good, but I still have a smoothie for breakfast...I don't dare change it.
BMs are OK, not that horrible ripping feeling, it must be looser down there, no doubt about that!
I rest, and I have to because otherwise things get uncomfortable, or painful., but I am going back to work next week. Only for a couple of hours a week.

Those two fissures should heal much quicker than you imagine, Corsica! Just watch.
I am down that you are still so raw and sore! I have really been cheering loudly for you! Soon you will be eating whatever junkfood you like (within reason, of course!)
And I am happy you are getting to go back to work, I hope you get to return fully very soon. Your life is returning, now lets head for the beach, shall we?

I hate Movicol, the stuff is addictive that's for sure. I'm trying to cut down and things are slow moving. I hate my butt and I am so tired and fed up of every thing. I should NEVER have started taking this toxic thing, I never needed to take laxatives before this nightmare started and now I may end up with an even worse digestion than before this wonderful nightmare started
