I think lifting heavy items is very bad for that area, Corsi.

I was told not to lift heavy objects for 4 weeks after my surgery.

Yeah, I can see how that would set things off. I hate being in that predicament (which I am a lot since I don't have any big, handsome sons!). Sometimes I have to drag the bag across the floor rather than pick it up.
You are still recuperating so keep that in mind. I wish they would do a follow-up before June 2nd. I know that would give you peace of mind that things are on track than to wait so long not knowing for sure. Can you ask to be seen next week?

ughhhhhhhh :( So sorry Corsi - just read this Image I really wish you can take some rest and be still for a while Image Carrying heavy stuff is a big no-no , all of my CRSs told me that after the LIS - 2-4 weeks is absolutely period when one should not carry or pull anything Image . Not to mention that even after 6 months I had my first mishap after puling a heavy furniture in the beck-yard - PLEASE do not do such stuff : ((- sons or no sons - just take it easy. In a hurry to be "normal" again , you will just make your recovery last longer Image .
You have 2 fissures to heal, dear Corsi : (, please be patient and kind to yourself Image . Did you CRS tell you about location of your second fissure ??? It should not be on the side Image ...
All the best Image

No, he didn't tell me actually, he told my hubby. Tomorrow I go to my GP and maybe she has some info, I will ask her...

Yes, of course, Corsi, in a purely platonic way. Image
