Hello Neil!

yes PLS update us!!!!

I am struggling with scraping sensations/pains when BM is bigger and harder also I get 2-3 days during the week with dull burning pain/sensations through the day .....

burning pain after BM - its for sure pelvic floor , but that scraping feeling when stool passes freaks me out cause I imagine its micro tears meaning more scar tissue

Hi Sorry for the delay in replying.
Yes i'm still on stool softeners. One sachet at 1045am and the other at 1045pm.
So i've started a new job (toilet right next to the office so thats good). I'm lone working 3 nights a week and its all good so far. I know I will have to be a lot stricter with my diet to avoid flare ups but hopefully i can use the money for pelvic floor physio and/or accupuncture (which has cured some peoples hypertonic floor apparently). So my exercises for the pelvic floor are now:
1. Belly breathing.
A) I do it like it is shown in this video once in the morning and once at night. This replaces the breathing exercises my previous pelvic floor physio gave me.
https://youtu.be/PJprXsSvdag?si=N7hKZ39w3F3ugDLr

B) I try to to do regular belly breathing throughout the day (plenty of videos of this on youtube). One thing I do is practise it in between reading chapters in my bible (which i read everyday).

2. Pelvic Floor Exercises
I do the following exercises which can be found in the book called: Pelvic Liberation by Leslie Howard
Mountain Pose Page 149 (1-5 minutes)
Standing Pigeon Page 156 (1-2 minutes)
Cat Cow Page 140 (3-5 reps)
Tail Wag Page 142 (1 minutes)
Whilst I am still on all fours I then do this exercise at the 5min 25seconds point in this video https://youtu.be/W23bSJzEhzE?si=jQmTMP2Y87KGxYDq&t=325
Staff Pose Page 127 (1-2 minutes)
Bound Angle Pose Page 128 (3-5 minutes)
Downward Facing Dog Page 146 (2 minutes)
Supported Bridge Pose Page 158 (3-5 minutes)
Reclining Bound Angle Pose Page 160 (5-20 minutes)

My 24hour news watching seemed to creep back into my life so I have eliminated that again.

Finally and this was a good one I listened to a very old book called "The Untroubled Mind" by Herbert J Hall on my Librivox app which is a free audio book app. LISTEN TO IT. yes it sounds archaic at times but it does reinforce the point of how its hard to heal when there is so much going on in your head and encourages you to not over think. Definitely worth listening to. Any questions about the above please ask.

Hello Neil,
Wow wow - what a news!! You are so strong to work with this condition! Well done...

Thank you for detailed info on stretches and poses !!! I wasnt aware of some of them.

This evening I will look into untrabled mind- already sounds very promissing and helpful!!!
Will report back after listening to it....

Neil, when you talk about flares what do you have in mind??? Pains and sensations during BM or general dull ache burning tigthness sensations/pain through the day????

I have those scraping still with bigger BM and also there are few spells during the week of those tight pelvic floor injury symptoms- tightness mixed with dull like nerve pain is very unnerving and torturing- im shaking from terror just to tipe it for you!!!!

P.s. i stopped running and long walks cause my knees are destroyed and also too much stretching makes my hips ache.....

God heal us all and lets keep fighting the good fight
