Yes JHH, tried it for the first time last night and was amazed! No pain at all plus no horrid side affects, not like the rectogesic I had before. Also today I have slightly less pain and no pain killers needed, so really pleased. Is it possible to be in love with a cream? lol Hope you are ok?

If its diltiazem, then awesome. I had to switch to diltiazem too, as rectogesic started to give me a rash.

Im OK'ish, although the stomach pain I had last april has returned. Im pretty sure I have IBS or celiac, so I have started to follow the fodmap diet. The last couple of days that has resulted in bristol 4 BMs which gave me some irritation. Its like, do I try to fix my ass OR my stomach LOL. Im just crossing my finger that I dont retear!

Thats great R.

I just wish I knew how to keep my BMs at bristol 6 while following fodmap. I dont think it helps that I also have gone glutenfree.

Ooh yes I have heard that gluten free can cause constipation, not sure if that's true or not :-( Poor you, have you had a blood test for coeliac? IBS pain can be really uncomfortable but I've never had bad pain, def not worse than the fissure pain. Can you have a scan done? You might have an ulcer :-( That kind of pain makes you want to bend over forwards hugging your stomach.

Rach, I think we should meet up with that Adam guy and warn him lol, plus I have a friend who really fancies him so I could fix them up on a date at the same time lol

Hi J,

I digest Wheat and Gluten free products so much better. I have much better BMS now than ever before. The FODMAP has saved my life when it comes to the IBS. Maybe if i had done it sooner i wouldnt have these monsters. who knows? I always get Bristol 4's small hosepipe style, which sometimes turn to a 5 at the end. I cant get 6 at all, plus my CRS said to keep things normal they need to be around a 3 or 4. Unfortunately when Fissures are chronic like mine any BM makes me sore/irritated or spasm. I just think my muscle is tight.

Sugar, you so made me laugh this morning!! That really cheered me up.... I think Adam must have a bum made of steel to be able to digest all that crap and stodge. The last episode i watched he ate a super tower sandwhich stuffed with meats, cheese, coleslaw all fried!! YUCK. Why the heck hasnt he got some kind of problem back there. Yes we could set your friend up with him.... lol. we could then find out his secret!!! LOL.

SS, thanks :-)
I will see my doc about it, and maybe have some tests done. Its just strange I can walk around half a year without symptoms, and then bam, suddently there without me changing my diet. Maybe it was christmas stress triggering some IBS. Anyway, Im sure its not an ulcer, since I got a hose down my throat last may, and the pain is nowhere as bad as fissure pain. The worst part is the nausia, but thats getting better now I think.

R, you seems to know quite a bit about this, lets talk in the IBS section. OK?

Thanks again to both of you!
