glad to hear you are well. I will likely take a litle while for the fissure and hemmie to heal, but wih the LIS, it will be no where near as painful as before. Happy healing!!

I itch when I heal and I love it, because then I hope that this nightmare will end...
So happy you feel as good as you do, but please Jen, pay attention to what Val, juney and the others say - be careful! I have read that fissures take a long time to heal, especially the chronic ones.
I thought my fissure had healed this summer, I was on vacation and allowed my self to drink wine, eat pasta, cheese, etc (=enjoy life!). When I saw my CRS, he checked it and it was still 1 cm. long.
Be careful, sit as little as possible, be overcaucious and pamper yourself!
Sorry to be such a nag.....

I just had another BM and holy cow it stings like hell!!!! I think it may have stung worse today than yesterday, but the difference was, there was no blood today like there was yesterday.
I feel fanstastic this morning. FANTASTIC!!! The BM was no picnic in the park, but I am SITTING and typing right now. I also feel there is no need to take my darvocet today. Just maybe some motrin will do the trick. I feel so good that I am hoping my doc actually cut enough. I did alot of reading on the surgery threads this weekend, and it seams no one healed this fast except luxendust - she wrote that she had the surgery one Friday and was working on Monday. I am not saying I am healed this soon because I am not - the sorness is just 80% better and not really that much of a bother anymore.

Oh guys I am scard now. I made a huge mistake of looking at my bum. I think I am going to throw up. It looks awful! There is even some fresh blood down there and it looks like there are tags and swelling everywhere. I can not see a lateral cut - it just seems that there is a huge looking fissure type cut located in the back (12 oclock position) & my original fissure was in the 6 oclock position. No wonder my BM's hurt - there are cuts everywhere.
I am so depressed now. It looked horrible and I am terrifed a huge infection will start. Sorry guys - I am so scared!!!!
