Hi Corsica
Evening primrose does help with PMS Image
For me constipation issues seem to arise around that time , at one stage that was the only time I would suffer any fissure setbacks/pain, then I started the E/P and didn’t suffer that way again, things were great for a few months …they were the days of being on my cream you see….

Absolutely worth a try for you

"wipe their asses with their degrees!" I laughed reading that one Image
I really wanted to call her back and tell her that she behaved unprofessional, but most of all I was blue...
I think the reason Lars has got problems getting appointments, is that he live in a place where there isn't a lot of specialists, at least that is the impression I have. (Lars correct me if I am wrong...).
You know Norway is a very long and stretchy country and people live in a lot of small places, and we don't have big hospitals everywhere.

Why shouldn't you get a C-section, when all celebrities get it for vanity? You need it. If your fissure isn't reason good enough, I don't know...

I will try evening primrose if it is gluten free
Isn't this sweet? Poor thing.... Image
It is evening here now, and isn't it strange how the the fissure pain is much better in the evening...

I had that pattern, Corsica. For the first several months, my spasms always ended by noon or so. I think the sphincter slowly, gradually relaxes again after the trauma of the morning BM.
But over time I was sore and hurting down there almost all the time.
I hope you never get like that!

Hi Corsi!
Here's my thread. As you already know, I was using a false name (Hugh) at the time. It gets kinda scary after I get home and can't pee or doo, but it has a very happy ending....

Wow, Kim, I read the complete thread. You can really empathize with us as you have definitely been through it and can honestly understand our malaise. Thanks for hanging on here and being a great source of support and knowledge with a defninite past history. So happy for you that you had a good outcome!!

You are very welcome, Corsi! I suffered for seven months before I "caved." I wish I had done it months earlier.
But saying that is such a tricky, dicey thing here on this board.
Surgery may not be the best route for everyone. Sadly, I have seen, over almost two years being here, that you girls seem to be somewhat less likely to get the great results that the guys seem to (almost) unanimously get from LIS. I just wonder if it's because of your recurring monthly "setbacks/kechup" and other pelvic floor issues, or perhaps a more complex and fluctuating endocrine system.
But I know what a great source of inspiration this board was for me in those dark, miserable days, and I hope I can play a small role in bringing a tad bit of light to others who are sharing that same, unspeakable pain that most other folks can't relate to.

Kimmy-boy - I just think that doctors do not cut us as much as they do boys Image . They assume that out sphincter is weaker due to childbirth and smaller anatomy AND that we would freak more out if we have small incontinence for gas and sue their butts off ! They think that man as macho as they are would "bear" it all without complaining and that we would make a
big dramatic scene in the office if we fart by accident since it is so much UN lady-like. I am 100 % sure that it is the cause of girls having less success - period (or no period LOL).
I demand a study regarding this issue Image !!!!
