I know how you feel igrik, if my Bm are smooth and smaller then,it's smooth sailing with very little or no pain(spasm's).
Example, today I had oatmeal with diced fruit and cinnamon, then a half an avocado with a splash of pure virgin olive oil.
of course water, water, water..lol.
and my BM was perfect and much smaller, thinner and no tightness or pain ,at all. the pain has gradually arrived but only a 1 on the pain scale, very manageable.

We all know on this forum the importance of keeping our stools very , very soft and loose, with out diarrhea, it's difficult but we keep on , keeping on...:D
I'm glad you had a good day today as well.
I'm glad we have a place like this to vent, and not feel afraid to talk about our butts in such a detailed manner.
My sister has ulcerated crohns and a healed fissure, but you can't talk to her, its the way she is, so I'm glad we can here.
Thanks all.Image

I will just note that consideration is about pain, discomfort weird feeling down there stays with me 24/7. But it is not noticeable as soon as I am busy and don't pay attention.

Day number 25 on nitro
Had BM on second day. Wanted to go, but still did small enema to soften first part. BM was huge, but not thick. Actually I didn't feel pain on the usual place I did. So I believe that fissure caused by doctor is healing. However now pain transferred to rest of unhealed wound. BM was fast, no straining.

Yes it sucks :(
Hope you recover soon. You really need to work on getting your stools soft enough to not strain at all.

Once I am somewhat sure I'm not going back to square 1 (when will that be?) I plan to post my average pain ratings.  Maybe I'm a weenie, but earlier on my pain ratings during BM's were high, like 7 to 9 (anything over a 5 and I had to bite on something to cope with the pain). That's with lidocaine 5% on board before BM's. Very, very gradually pain levels have improved, so now I am usually around 1's to 3's.  This has been over a period of several months, using ointments, sitz baths, heating pad, diet changes, earlier on softeners, etc.  I haven't had a noticeable retear (significant fresh blood) for a few weeks.  Still have days that pain spikes to a 6; sometimes during, right after or the 'post pain' of spams.  I think it might be helpful for others to see the slow progress but also the two steps forward, one step back kind of pattern.  At least that's been my experience.  I'm a pretty patient  person and this has required so much more patience than I ever could have imagined!!  I'm hoping your healing process will be quicker!Image

Thanks guys.
Day number 29 on nitro
Wend on second day. BM was bristol six only in the end. 2/3 of it was soft but bulky, not mushy. It was painful and not flying out as usually. Though, after BM I am better and don't feel deep fissure pain, only superficial discomfort on the rest of the wound, which is better than fissure pain.
