I finally got to catch up on your post too.
Wow - Congratulations on getting the LIS procedure sorted and done so quickly!
As everyone says, the external hem is unfortunately part & parcel of the surgery - I had exactly the same, as have others and that hopefully should just settle down as the area starts to feel better - I know mine did after a while and I've not had issues with that one since! Cold showers to the area helped a lot.
I hope you see substantial healing soon and to the external wound following the procedure - It's possibly just a case of waiting it out now for this all to calm down, but hopefully now in the next few weeks, you should start to experience a noticeable recovery in all aspects.

Thanks every one for support. So I think it is also time to spot some update as I am officially 3 weeks post LIS surgery.

So as I wrote before thrombosed hemorrhoid disappeared, and there are no signs of it anymore. LIS surgery wound is completely healed and there is not scar or any sign of it presence anymore.

What about old wound itself? It is still there, though it is not anymore so symptomatic, which means I do not care anymore so much about it.

BMs are much easier now, and there is still some discomfort and small spasms after for 2-3 hours, which usually relieves very good with walking. So everytime after BM I pick up small 6 months kid into pram and go for walking. During the walking and after I feel great. That is already a progress! I do walk after BM! I am not lying in bad suffering from spasms.

Also I decided to put some nitro and nifedipine in order to help with small spasms which still there. As per wound, it is difficult to say if it is smaller, as it really depends on the sphincter state, sometimes it looks smaller sometimes bigger, depends on relaxation at the moment of look.

I still didn't get results of biopsy, so will write reminder next working week.

So to conclude life is much easier after LIS, however wound is still not healed. It was huge as doctor commented and is not regular fissure which human can get naturally by hard BM, it is 3 times bigger, as it is wound where skin was removed. So I assume it will also heal some more time, but unless I don't feel much symptoms I am ok to wait.

Great news, Igrik! I'm so happy for you that you are making progress, and are feeling fine while walking. I'm sure your baby is enjoying the walks too. What a great way to spend time with baby!

yes igrik!! im so inspired to read your story as well. I feel like my position was so much less than yours yet i am so much more debilitated. May you recover completely, may you return to your family with loving care. May your healing process be perfect and no complications arise. I know this sounds weird to say, but i want none of us to EVER have to be on this site again OTHER than to helps others who were in the same situation.

My question is how do you apply the nifedipene and nitro post surgery? I find it very difficult to do and i have not had the surgery.
