happy 3rd week post op to me. pain is still there, it's like a few ants are in my sphincter biting away. it's like a chronic itch still - it just won't go away.

My BM's are pain free now which is wonderful, it's just the itchy pain after thats getting to me. If I put any pressure on the incision site at 12 it still hurts like heck.I take it that will be months before it's healed properly.

I used Honey last night on my sphincter for the first time since my op and by the morning it felt like it had dried out my whole sphincter meaning when I moved it sent pain going everywhere in the area.

no clue what my body is doing!

When is your follow up with your CRS? What about applying something moisturizing then? Like coconut or vitamin e oil?

what a difference a few days make. For 3 days I've been taking one of these a day: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181525298217? ... EBIDX%3AIT

bought on a whim but since I've taken them I've pretty much had ZERO pain on BMs!! still a bit of lingering irritation after but it's really nothing to complain about. woohoo!!! :D yesterday was my first day post op that I've not needed any pain relief, not even paracetamol. Very happy bunny here. xxx

I don't have a clue if I'm healing or not... one day I feel ok next I get stinging pain then back to ok again. todays BM wasn't eventful and I've not bled in 2 weeks now, its just after the BM I'm getting dry/stinging type pain all around the sphincter without a let up. Not sure what this is.

Don't forget it's still early days FF. maybe use some coconut oil or a little bit of barrier cream to keep it from feeling to dry?

It sounds like you are making great progress though!

I really hope so OMB, I've had this horrible horrible itch from 11pm last night (9 hours now!!) its at the 11am position and it's just terrible. Driving me mad! no creams are helping and I've tried a sitz bath. Now stuck at work and it's still there :(
