It's obviously different for everyone but I think youll really like the results. Focus on the fact that a few days from now you will be in less pain than you have been for awhile and your life will be coming rushing back to you. It's awesome!

I suspect that most of us were as terrified as you going into surgery, and for all of the same reasons. And like you, we all got there because we had no choice and were fed up of living with the pain and with the poor quality of life that had become the norm for us.

All the best tomorrow and I wish you a speedy and full recovery. I hope that you'll be back here soon, telling us how well everything went.

Destrino - Best wishes to you. I shared all of your concerns. As it turns out, the hospital staff and doctor were absolutely amazing - very supportive and comforting. I can tell that things are different after surgery, but I have not suffered from incontinence and my AF clearly healed. In my case, I could tell that I started healing in the days right after surgery - there was pain, but it was a different kind of pain and it continually improved. Another person I spoke with and who recommended that I get the surgery told me that was her experience, and it turned out to be precisely mine as well. Best of luck to you and I hope we see you posting a success story in short order.

Good luck with everything!
I know it's hard, but take deep breaths, try to stay calm, and think happy thoughts! Hopefully a short time from now you will be pain free and happy! Wishing you a speedy full recovery !
My surgery was 6 days ago. And I actually got out today, took a little walk, I feel great! So I wish the same for you!!
