SueMac I am also with my wife for 21 years and she believes the same as your husband so I figured there is some truth in that. Then I started this path of training my mind and it was a definite success compared to what I have been doing in the past, which was to try so many different diets. I am totally convinced of the mind-body connection as the main trigger of health or disease.

I'm totally with you on this and believe it more and more along this journey to recovery. One important part of that process is this being able to talk freely and without embarrassment as we are able to on the forum.

Suemac I big thing for me during this journey has been the embarrassment and keeping this is secret to avoid the embarrassment. First off we shouldn't be embarrassed about our body or it's natural processes. I always feel called to talk about it something tells me this is a part of the healing process. We all have our own paths but for me the issues are
Letting go.
Loving my body an myself.
Not feeling embarrassed.
Have you read a book by Louise hay called you Can heal your Life. If you haven't I strongly recommend it

You are absolutely right Missy of course this should be the case. I am so thankful that I have my mum and husband to talk to openly as i know others are not a fortunate. I went to an afternoon tea party reunion thing the other day - imagine telling all the other women of my "little problem" and yet if I;d had a hysterectomy I would probably have been really open about it.
I will look up the book - many thanks for the suggestion.
I'm glad you are doing ok at the moment, I am also doing ok right now.

How are you now missy? Is there anything you can do before your period to ease this? Take stool softeners or up them or something to relax the muscles etc??
