fiss- that's interesting about the metamucil. my surgeon wants me to work on the "formed BMs" the natural way too. in fact he told me to avoid MOM and any other laxative type stuff (like prunes!) during recovery. that freaks me out cuz i'm so dependent on it!!! but i'm taking mineral oil so i guess it'll help coat it. maybe you could try that to help that bigger BMs slide out?? i'm supposed to take 2 tablespoons a night.
personally, i'd rather be dependent on laxatives my whole life, but i guess natural is the way to go when we're trying to be "normal" again :)
good job on going to the bathroom at the drs! i HATE going in public places when i don't have my shower right next to me. LOL

My dearest friends Image - it happened again - one hour of writing just disappeared Image Image Image Image Image , I am soooooo distraught
right now that I have to take a break Image Image !!!!!!
Bottom line -
JO sweetheart :thinkofyou: Thanks so much for telling me that that kind of wound really can grow back that way - I was crying this morning wondering how is that possible  :redlove: Image Image Image . Your words made a world of difference for me :sprinkleheart: Thank you so much for your every prayer Image - I still need them desperately Image Image . I am so sorry to hear about your dear friend :( :( :( , may she rest in peace and be embraced with eternal light and everlasting love.... XOXOOOOO :sprinkleheart:
Val dearest - yes , I have to make myself to believe that he is competent after all Image , but it is so hard when you had to deal with all kind of charlatans before Image. He is always so calm, always has every answer and does not have a slightest hint of arrogance and always remembers previous exam and talk to the detail so he is really paying attention. I just hope he has enough experience  , he is CRS for "only" 14 years but was trained at Hopkins and Stanford and all...(sigh...) , just will wait some more time and than see what to do. Love you buddy :sprinkleheart: Image :sprinkleheart:
Corsi - sorry for the blur Image Image - I know that you "nordic tribes" do not "adore" each other, so I apologize - a true Norse gal you are Image . And it is OK - you can keep your CRS hunk for yourself LOL Image - Jeeeeeeez, you should have told us upfront LOL Image Image Image
Juney - yes, we have to start with Metamucil again Image - it worked fantastic for me before this surgery Image - but now I have to do it gradually . Hope you are doing well today Image
LOVE TO ALL Image Sorry for being this short - I am just afraid I will
"lose" it all again Image

Fissy -

I am sorry hun! This is all just so terrible and I feel so helpless! I wish there was something I could do! It will heal - it is just going to take a while because all of those cuts. Have you tried contacting another CRS for a different opinion? Or are you going to wait 2 week like he asked? I would be mostly upset because he did not cut enough :( . I don't know why all these doctors are afraid to cut your sphincter! Image

I know how an infection happens - I guess I just misunderstood your post! Sorry! :D I thought you ment your entrie sphincter itself was diseased and infected Image - not a surrounding abcess or fistula.

BTW - I have been wondering this for quite some time (I must have missed the original post), but did you ever find an explanation of that mystery bleeding hemmie/spot by your bum???

I am so glad the meds are taking the edge off! I am praying for you darling!
:thinkofyou: :nevergive:

Hi Jen -babe : ) !!! Nice to see you today relaxed and happy Image !
No, I never got explanation of that bleeding and I definitely don't have hemmies - he examined every single tiny fold while I was asleep. He only found those 3 tiny centennial piles inside - those are remnants of previous injuries and he wanted to make sure they are gone since he said he saw them grow as long as a half a pinky and than they hurt and bleed and are inflamed and what not - so he "killed" them in the bud . It looks like my skin tag was culprit of it all and it did give me those pinching sensations and would swell and stuff and it did need to go - I am now at peace with that decision - it would never calm down and would give me trouble forever so , yeah , I just now pray it heals completely and fast . He is sure it will happen in 2-3 weeks. The butt does look better - I mean better than before the surgery , but I wish that it looks follow the "feeling". Today I did not take any dervocet since I had to drive to pick up my daughter from school (my hubby had to go on business trip) and I was surprised that I had almost no pain that lingered after BM. But now I had a BM again and it started to hurt a little - but I have to compare days before and prize the Lord - I was almost pain free whole day Image Image Image. BMs are still painful - skin tag place is definitely source of pain and than nerves radiate it to the right side Image.
Thank you buddy for so much concern Image and wishing that you can help Image - it is very much appreciated !!! I hope you are doing grate and I envy your loose butt LOL Image !!!!! I hope I will find a CRS who will finally make it "relax", even if that means dilation !!!!!
I will give him those 2 weeks , he promised ultrasound and manometry after that, so I don;t want to miss that opportunity, it is rare to find CRS who has that equipment at disposal and is willing to use it ! Of course, if my pain gets worse, I will be seen much sooner !
I hope your baby is completely well too and that now two of you have major fun Image

There is hope, it WILL heal. When I looked at my "unhealed" wound I really thought that it would never heal. But it did!
Image
I am really hoping that your pain is being controlled now. It is so painful. Is the darvocet and valium working for you?
Image Image Image
Just remember that many are praying for you and we all want you well.
Image
Take care dear Fissy, You will heal from all this!!

Dearest JO Image
You have no idea how much calm your words bring to my heart :sprinkleheart: !!!! That is exactly what I crave to hear Image Image Image Image
I have to start to believe it myself, that healing IS possible , but it is so hard after trying so many things and still not seeing the light. But you and others here who pray for me ARE my light Image , and I am thankful for that beyond the words can express Image Image Image Image Image Image !
Yes, thanks God, meds help :angell: and I know I should be grateful and I am : ) !!! I just wish they do not make me drowsy and that I can drive while taking them, but with time, maybe I will need them less and less Image.
Thank you so much dear Jo for writing to me. I hope you are doing well and you and your son are always in my prayers too Image !!!
:thinkofyou: :heart7: Image

That is great you are seeing improvement. I know at this point you will take anything. The body wants to heal and yours will too. I am so glad you were able to drive and have a less painful BM. That is a blessed success. You have come a long way in a short time! Image
