seems i am having the same experience as you..pain after BM, draining, and yes the nasty smell.
give it some time. are you using any gauze pads up there to soak up draining and to dry things up? be sure to use the pads that dont stick to the wound. if you are be sure to change them out twice or three times daily. it speed things up for me. the pain maybe from the fistula. The pain you discribe sounds like mine.
just my take, please take care. keep the good diet, stay off the bum.
best regards,
Bernard

i just have to reiterate what i've said before. hot baths multiple times a day. keep gauze against the wound, changing it after every bath. you might want to try a vitamin ointment as well.

The draining is becoming lesser and lesser. :)
How long does it take before the soreness goes away? That along with piching, minor burning and tickling is my only symptomes for now.

excellent lars...sounds like you are improving......just don't rush it...and pretty soon, you'll wake up thinking - did you even have pain the day before? no...and it's all done!

It all is individual, Lars. For me after first LIS I think 9 weeks were when I started feeling "normal". This time around I think it will be maybe 12 weeks Image - HOPEFULLY LOL !!! For some little stinging and such is there for months on and off Image - we all heal different rate and different way so don't rush anything and even when you DO wake up with all of it gone continue to be super-duper careful for a year, at least !!! I am serious ! I felt great 3 mos. post LIS and than just "slipped" a little with water intake and started doing heavy physical
work (I love to garden) and my butt started acting up until I ripped it open again , plus my sphincter regained it's full strength on top of everything !!!
NEVER trust your butt again - pamper it and make it happy any way you can for the longest time Image !!!You don't want to go through this hell again - TRUST ME LOL !!!

For the first time in my life I craped in my pants. The bm came so fast and I had no chance holding it in. Also farted silent ones a lot of times today without no control. Danm it feels good to be looser :) And no I have no panic attacks because of this. Rather this than a nasty fissure :)

Yeah, I have missed once and I didn't even have the surgery or botox to blame it on! Just look at the whole picture and give yourself time to recover. Glad to hear you are feeling better though! :macarena:
