Botox Hem Diary

Postby Rachael 1984 » 15 Apr 2013, 02:49

Day 11 update, weird tingling, itching sensation, still raw and a little sore.
Everything feels looser, but why a bit of blood on BM today? Not a flipping re-tear!? And the Hems haven't made an exit yet?! Sigh..... Image

Tingling and itching are often a side effect of healing. Image You could add a little zinc cream to your arsenal (love that word now)to help alleviate the itch. Don't scratch! Image
If it is feeling looser then that is great.
It is likely that the blood flow has improved and you may bleed a little bit.
Regarding the Hemms: I often put rings on little lambs balls and they can take weeks to fall off...but they do fall off. Image
I know it is a tough road Rachael but it does sound as though you are moving forward with a little stumble back.
But keep venting your frustration. Image
Better out than in .xxx

Thanks PIA. I love the arsenal! i am going for these monsters, full arsenal ahead!!! Image
Day 13 update. No real pain on BM... Some weird tingling sensations back there, good day yesterday. Taking 2 movicol instead of 1 to keep BMS soft. The Fybogel was bulking the BMS up. Should BM be toothpaste like!?
Keep going...... Image

Hi OMB,
I achieved the Toothpaste today, think it is down to uping the Movicol... Lets see... The pain level has gone down now, it is weird this tingling sensation. i have kept the area dry, not sure if this is helping? I almost felt normal yesterday, and my partner commented that i seem a bit happier. Hopefully i can heal. Good and bad days i think along the way...... Image

I am so happy to hear you are feeling a bit better. My Bms were like toothpaste at first and the have gradually thickened as the sphincter has loosened. Bit like garden hose pipe now Image

I am contemplating trying Botox after weeks and weeks of misery. Thanks for sharing your experience. It's sounds like it took a couple of weeks but you are now doing better! Hope you continue to improve! :)

I agree with the roller coaster but overall for me things are so much better. Having introduced the coconut oil as a wipe after visit to the loo has really helped I think. Seems it keeps things smoother and stops the local itch and irritation which can very quickly be a message for da da!! ' sphincter spasm'. Always a good idea to keep a tiny memory of how bad it was so you know how good it is now. Xx Image
