Thanks guys... Your support really means a lot!!
Well... The cream started irritating me by the end of day 1 so went back to drs yesterday. I mentioned the bruised tail bone feeling too. She had a good look at me and said apart from the Andes she couldn't see anything sinister from the outside. She took my temperature... Which was fine, so no sign of infection per say.
On Thursday I phoned the CRS office to see if I could speak to someone. The secretary said they would pass the message on and someone would ring me back.... They didn't... So I phoned again yesterday, left another message, was assured someone would ring back.... But no.. No call.
My dr has given me a prescription for 2 different anti biotics and said to ask which one to use if needed. Obviously now it's the weekend, so I won't get a call till Monday. I'm not sure if I should start one of them and see how it goes!
Oh, and my dr prescribed me proctosedyl for the hems.
Tailbone ache is still there.... Although no worse. Pain from fissure after a bm is worse... Very stingy.... But it settles down to liveable after about half an hour and a soak in the bath.
Hope you are all out there enjoying the sunshine!! Image

Hi OMB. The proctosedyl is really good. It made my grape shrink. I think it is okay for Fissures too. One of my friends is a pharmacist, and she too had Fissures. She swears by Protosedyl and she healed her Fissures with it. It did take a whole year though. Glad that the baths can calm the sting down. Those pesky hems are awful, they will die. Keep fighting OMB you can do it, we are here for you.

Hi OMB,
Sorry to hear your having some trouble. When I had Botox first I tore a few times but because Botox so still at early stage it healed quickly. I know I went on to have LIS but the Botox was really good that good that I forgot that I ever had a fissure & through my own fault i tore again. So never forget be extra careful. I hope you get some comfort soon.
Take care x

Hi OMB, hope you get the call from the consultant. You will feel easier once you have spoken to him. Keep going, sending you my love. Hopefully it is only a minor re-tear and you will be back on track. Xxxxx

Yes, I'm ok.... Still plodding along!!!
The consultant eventually rang this afternoon. He said he wasn't concerned about the tailbone feeling.... He said he'd never heard of it in relation to a Botox side effect. I also mentioned that I was suffering from a hemaroid attack, but he scooted over that one! I said I was feeling worse since the Botox... But he just said wait and see what things look like at my 8 week follow up..... I really don't think he was listening to my concerns or that bothered to be honest. I hope I don't have to see him at my follow up... Where's mr W when you need him!!!
Things are still much the same with me... Although it wasn't so stingy after bm this morning.... So maybe things are starting to look up!!
Slowly slowly catchy monkey!!
