Butt blog update: Day 59, 60 & 61
Hi all, although I was worried about my trip to Manchester, I managed to keep everything going. Stuck to simple foods at the hotel, had a salad for an evening meal when everyone else was tucking into the garlic breads and pizzas. Just drank water and no alcohol unlike everyone else. I was very self controlled. Very proud of myself.
Just made sure I CHEW EVERYTHING to pulp.

As I have no routines with my BMs, I was very lucky today, my meeting finished at 3 and just before walking to my car for the 4 hour journey back through rush hour, I went for a perfect BM. As soon as I walked in the door when I arrived back, my butt hit the toilet bowl and put popped a Bristol 6. Perfect. If I had been stuck in traffic it could've been a tragic end to the beautiful hire car I had.
3 very good days of Bristol 5-6s. I've also found that whenever I eat something a little bit naughty, my incision site stings a little. I think it knows and prompts me to be careful. I think my fissure is warning me. How funny.
Anyway it was a successful trip and I'm still healing.
Healing to you all.

Yay!
Welcome "home" Welsh.....
Love that slug chomper!!
Funnily, I also get that same little "fissure" warning when my diet goes slightly awry...it's like a twinge from the scar tissue area just before a BM, that always reminds me to follow the golden rules & poop gently! It also keeps me in check for sure! x x

Butt blog update 9weeks!
I've had 2 weeks consecutively of no pain after a BM. Im chuffed to say the least. Looking forward to my appointment and seriously considering a proper examination to check its all doing well.
Thought I'd change my avatar to something a bit more fitting. My jaw muscles are certainly getting a work out.
My butt is happy, my poop is happy and essentially that makes me happy.
