I wish that we all could heal, but more than any thing I would like that you, Val, Lecia and Jared could heal. One shouldn't compare health problems, but when it is more seious and/or long term it is so XXXX
Let 2009 be the healing year Image

Let's include my son Lance--that he could be cured of Crohn's Disease. I try to support the CD research financially as I can. Here's to healing for Val, Lecia, Jared, Juney, and Lance in 2009!!

I am sorry that things aren't any better.
Have you tried glutamine and zinc? I am finding these supplements help with tissue repair. Are you getting enough protein? I know I wasn't when I was depressed and not really eating because of the pain. I really hope things get better soon. I wish Bernard would tell us how things are going with him. I know he had some healing issues and had quite an extensive work-up and surgery.

lecia - i started zinc supplements yesterday, on your recommendation. thank you for the advice! :) i'm taking 2-3 tablespoons of benefiber, a multivitamin, vitamin e capsule, and zinc everyday. things are still so soft even without softeners, MOM, or vitamin c and i think that's causing more inflammation.
i'm coating the anal canal with A&D ointment before BM now and cleaning off with warm water instead of wipes or TP. i take a bath still after every BM and again before bed. i'm applying some kind of ointment after each bath (vitamin e, A&D, or zinc oxide). and i'm taking OTC pain medicine at least once a day. i also drink tea at least 3 times a day. all we can all do is keep trying i guess, no matter how frustrating/depressing this is.
i pray that 2009 is everyone's healing year!!!

Don't forget to take a B-complex, if you aren't already, as that help with tissue integrity too!

I have taken zink for 2 months now, and I do think it helps for wound healing.
Is it necessary to take the last bath Juney? I don't know, but can't we do too much sometimes??
I would love it if you healed soon Image
