Be careful about letting any stressors in your life play a role in tightening you up ok JHH
Take it easy, relax, do you...

Your doing great though bud. We sure are proud of your bristols as of late. If we can get you to replicate this for another two months or so then all the better my friend.

Thanks buttastic,
I think you hit the nail on the head. I have been quite busy and stressed out for the last couple of days. Going on vacation tomorrow.
Yes, after BM, I use toiletpaper gently, and jump in a shower. Thats routine now :)

Hi JHH, just remember, it's a rollercoaster ride. Remember I have had quite a few setbacks, then get back on track..... Please keep up the good work, what helps me is application of nitro a good hour before BM and bath immediately after BM with Bath Salts. I need to get up early to do all if this. And I am getting the damn headaches from the Nitro, but this outweighs the Fissure pain any day! I am addicted to the superpower Nitro! I just think now the pain is less, I can feel it working and pumping that blood! 👍😎 keep going Buddy!!!

Ok, let's update this forgotten thread!
Day 50
Painless bristol 5 BM. A little irritation during the day.
Day 51
Painless bristol 6. A little irritation during the day, and a few bouts of shooting pain in the evening. This day I was swimming a lot in chlorine water, and did a few runs in the waterslides.
Day 52
Painless bristol 6. Seems like being away has made my stools runnier... Skipped swimming, and had a day with only slight irritation. Even played a little tennis in the evening without issues.
Day 53
Again a painless bristol 6 BM. Went swimming again, and felt something not right back there after a trip in the waterslide. It did settle down again after a few hours, and no issues the rest of the day. I guess tomorrow's BM will show if I retore it...
I was eating the same as home, and brought all my butt items, so not much difference there. Some might think swimming and tennis could be crossing the line, but I'm not letting this fissurethingy put my life on pause completely, and besides, I couldn't let the kids down :)
On another note, I should add, that my fissure is now 6 month old. This is quite shocking, but at least I have gotten so much better during the last few months, so I don't expect to celebrate it's 1 years birthday!
I hope all you guys are doing good, and thanks for all your comments :)
W, swimmingstrokes causes me no trouble, but waterslides and chlorine water is not recommended. From now on, I will stick to the beach when I need a dip!

J - one word... Waterslides!! Whowzers. That my friend, is a brave move. I'm even worried about shuffling my butt across a chair, let alone skidding on my butt down a death slide backwards (death slide might not be what your slides were though). Kudos to you!
Hopefully the next thing you'll be celebrating is the death of your fissure. Death to all fissures!!
Are you on holiday in a warm climate? I always find hot countries affect my routine (despite not having much of a routine).
Fingers crossed it'll all settle down for you in the next couple of days!
Stay positive!

JHH,
Great to read you are doing so well and hopefully you have no further issues after your escapades!
I must admit I have also been wondering about waterslides recently and the impact they might have generally on that area!........I'm away in 3 weeks too and I know my little one will undoubtedly try to get me on them. Although "healed" I'm still pretty careful about any form of activity that might create any issues there, so proceed with caution I guess!....
Chronic Fissure diagnosed December 2011
Healed by Diltiazem around Feb 2013
Anal Fistula followed burst abscess in June 2012
2 internal troublesome piles remain & suspected, but undiagnosed, ongoing Levator Ani type symptoms & flare-ups
