Day 55
Since I was having bristol 6 BM's, and I wanted to have them a bit more firm like 5-6, I thought about decreasing lactulose. However I came up with a better idea. I had a beer yesterday, and today I had a painless bristol 5 BM :)
Went for a walk and had a bit of irritation after that went away within an hour. Then I did a 400 km drive without issues, and I even took a chance eating frensh fries. Hope I will be OK tomorrow!

Whoop whoop J! Look at you eh.., a beer! Can't wait to make some home-made sangria. I'm going to celebrate being healed with a jug of it and my family who have been so supportive through it all!
Good to know about the salt too.
Keep it up lovely!

Day 56
OMG. Something bad happened!
I just had a perfect bristol 5-6 BM, but felt something wrong right away. It's located to the front left, so I don't think it's my existing fissure which is in the back. It's not a bad pain, more a feeling something is stuck there, and irritating for every step I take. Right now I'm terrified it could be a new fissure :(

Hi J,
It may not be a new Fissure, does it feel almost spiky? Like BM is stuck there? I have had this quite a lot when I get that pressure feeling like I need to poop. Think it could be incomplete evacuation. Quite often I have had a second BM later on in the day when this happens. Get more lubrication in there and keep soft. Don't give up my friend you are doing great. Xxxx

Hi Rachael :)
It feels like a little piece of undigested food with a pointy edge is stuck in there. Then I get a prick with every movement. No pressure feeling, and dont feel like Im going to have a BM.
Fortunately, there is no spasms or burning, so I hope it will go away quickly. Not very happy about this new development...

Oh..JHH, you scared me..as I scrolled down, at first I saw this, "OMG. Something bad happened!"
Let's see, you did have a good bristle, and no intense discomfort, thank G-d.
Like Rachel, I have had that extra bit of poop just lately. I had to take more prunes, a stool/lax or more water, and viola the pesky poop perished.Image
I'm glad there is no spasm or burning, take a nice relaxing Fennel tea, even if you don't have IBS. Drink more water and take it easy.

Good Luck JHH! Hopefully its nothing new, Although i have had 2 more fissures pop up on me the last week so i am feeling pretty bummed out, i guess the splinter gets so tight that now i am getting new fissures left and right, dont mean to scare you. I truly hope you will be fine.
take care

That really sucks splinterboy, sorry about that :(
Day 57
Started OK with a painless bristol 5 BM, and without the pricking sensation like yesterday. Then after some hours I started getting some irritation while sitting, and later again I got worse irritation while walking. It never really turned into pain, but I take it as a reminder that Im still not healed!

Hmm, something is going on and I have no clue what...
Today I had lots of irritation, and discomfort. Much more than usual, but one thing puzzles me.
[Warning, dont read further if you dont want to be grossed out]
After getting up from the sofa just now, I noticed my underwear sticking to my buttcrack. Like they were glued on. I pulled them out, and felt it hurt while it pulled my asshair. In my underwear I notice some white(ish) dried in substance. WTF is that??? After my shower I have only used diltiazem like I have done every day, so I doubt its that. I have also stuck to my normal diet so no changes there.
Do any of you guys out there want to take a guess of whats going on in my butt?
