I would't think it would be a problem since you are just injecting water in there. That is great you are having good days!

Lars, my understanding is that unless you have the bm *before* the enema, consistent practice will cause enema dependency, so be careful. It doesn't matter if it is water, coffee or vodka. You would be re-training your regularity to depend on the enema rather than a natural cycle.
You probably should wean yourself from that practice as you get better and better. Try googling enema + dependency.

Poop left-overs irritate sensitive butts- that is for sure !!! That is why I always insist on importance of keeping the area super clean - it helped me heal - I am 100% sure of that :D

Coffee works as enema for me anyways !!! As soon as I have a few sips , I run for the loo full speed Sometimes just a smell of freshly brewed coffee is enough - talking about Pavlov's reflex Fortunately it causes that reaction only once (first morning coffee) LOL, so I can enjoy 2 next ones during the day without any dire consequences
