Hey Darren
I have been to Ninewells too – who knows maybe we were sat in the waiting room together with our bad butts :D
It could well be possible you have a slight re infection – I am not sure I am no expert but I think this mucous and such would only occur in this instance, just keep a close eye you sound a smart guy in knowing what signs you should be looking for if things get any worse esp pain and foul smelling discharge.
I am interested to know who you saw at ninewells maybe you could PM me !
Hang in there Dazzy – Things will get better :D

Corsica thank you, yes its a nice wee place to be part off here.
well last night i was lucky if i got 2 hrs sleep. the mind just starts buzzing and thats that, you just can stop it racing,
i feel so drained tbh, its a never ending vicious circle.
am at breaking point i know i am, i can feel it inside.
i think after all those docs told be i was in for an op, nd a man comes in for the 1st time has a very quick check, nd say no op, its very very dishearting,
you come home after all that nd people say "haha told ya there was nowt wrong ya lazy idiot, its just an excuse not to move "
god i only pray none of them ended up feeing as i do.
am just wasting away in the house, sore wen i walk, stand, drive(must be at least 5 weeks since i done that)
am doing everything the gp, etc told me to do,
all this makes me feel useless, nd very lonely.
i have no1 to turn to, well i do but i dont want them to carry my worries,
and the way i was left feeling by a certain senior dr/ or wot ever he was, makes me so down, and everyone else think its all a joke, its all a put on.
trust me if i was a dog id asked to be put down

Somtimes the mental angst is the worst with an AF. Oftentimes if we do less talking about it to others (except here), that is also helpful. I am sure with the proper treatment you can be fixed. Also, don't worry about your English. If we can get the basis of your thoughts, that is all that we need to reply and/or understand.
:nevergive:

Do try and put the anoheal up as far as you are comfortable doing, and give it 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to start helping. Use it generously. Try using it about 1 hour before the BM.
Go back to your GP and insist that something is still bad wrong and you *have* to have some help. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

Sorry to hear you had a rough night Darren Image
Time to get assertive with your GP - I feel for you Image

Yes, when things were bad for me, I used the ointment b/4 every bm and in the morning and bedtime also.

Try not to worry about it in the meantime!! I feel people here have lots more direct experience with AF because most docs have never had one!!!!! (my doctor told me that is what he believes) Image
They have the medical knowledge about the latest treatments, but don't fully understand the mental angst involved with butt issues because quality of life (i.e. cannot sit very well) can be affected so greatly. Image
Be sure to let us know what the doc recommends!!
