Regulan – Ispaghula/ psyllium is very beneficial to use !
I use to use it all the time to help with IBS but with fissure the bulk of the BM made it more painful to pass Image
Do you get regulan from your GP ?

no as my job involves heavy lifting, and long peiods of driving which is impossible as my butt hurts,
my only way for comfort is lieing on my side or on my my front, standing long periods gets very uncomfortabe, sitting on a ring or big cusion, my work cant allow me to use any of them 2 things for health and safety reason.

Tamara also makes a very good point about being your own advocate for your health! And demand someone help you.
I understand that it has taken me 2 years to get to this point - i feel i have had to fight Image
Dazzy I am sorry things were not more productive today...

Dazzy,
Thoughts are things. Worrying is not going to help you. Take it from me. I know all too well.

Don't give up Darren, we have all been there or are there...it's depressing, painful and life wrecking, but it is not lethal.
Have you had LIS? How is your pain? BM pain?
Before I visit my CRS/doctor I write down things to ask him...

It is so frustrating isn't it!? Sometimes I go in thinking I am properly prepared to do battle and then get run over and don't get my points across and how messed up my life is because of this pain.
I think this GP is out of his comfort zone and you need to see a CRS. I wonder if you could at least see Tabby's GP. He is very nice.
