I also have read on this forum that LIS is god send procedure to end this vicious cycle of pain... but I believe that we have to think of our butt throughout our life (in a good way) to follow hygienic methods and diet things... which is actually good to have a healthy life all in all....

So think positive and it will end soon..... good and bad thing about time is that it changes!!!! Be positive... watch some movies.... atleast you are able to sot and hold your baby.. it's been 5 months and I am still not able to sit and BF'ing while lying down.... but I am eagerly looking towards my CRS appointment... but more than anything, I have to know my body better...

I want to avoid chillies but being Indian, chillies are inevitable in curry n all stuff :(

But now I think I will cut down completely and see what happens with the burning

MM, I don't know...my general surgeon said that my fissure is responding well to Nifedipine ointment and I was pretty much healed in my last appointment... but I reteared with diarrhea and she wants me to continue with the same thing and said that I am not for the botox yet.

I am looking forward to my CRS appointment on June 27th and their opnion.. then will decide

Diltiazem and Nifedipine both are calcium channel blockers and increases blood flow to the area. For some reason, Diltiazem causes rashes and burning sense for some people where as Nifedipine feels cool.

My surgeon gave me Nifedipine+Lidocaine combo which is I think the best combo when it comes to ointment therapy.... you can ask your doctor
