Yes, if I can manage 1 BM and no more than that I seem to not be getting pain just discomfort. Even yesterday's large and slightly hard BM didn't really cause pain just discomfort. I know the Botox stops the spasms so that must mean it's getting a chance to heal even if it's just a bit I'm sure I will be able to have the LIS.
No gym today lots to do at work hopefully not too much stress though...one of the reasons I'm trying to retrain is to minimise my stress. As I know it impacts my IBS which in turn hurts my fissure.
Well hopefully no BM today as I will be sat down loads lol

Good for you! Maybe lay off the loperamide today then and throw in some soluble fiber? Yoga and mediation help me - have you considered yoga back again? I know you said long time ago you had a yoga routine?
Best wishes and hugs

Well a stinging and itching started yesterday and hasn't stopped no idea why...very strange.
I haven't taken loperamide for a few days so thinking I might be a bit dehydrated as I haven't been drinking much but have been exercising more...will change that today.
I don't mind going very other day though lol
I did do some yoga but it felt like it was stretching my fissure I certainly can't do the seated ones as they hurt, do you manage to do those?
Here's hoping this strange stinging itch stops soon lol

The strange sensations have been there for me too. Sting, itch, burn - different from that searing pain. Healing process? Stepping up the hydration is a good idea. Also maybe protecting it from chlorine in the pool? Do u apply coconut oil externally? I do only stand up type of yoga postures.they are the simplest forms and whatever feels right for me. I never push it. Hope it's a great day for u!

Well had 2 BMs yesterday first was fine Bristol 3 but no pain during and only a bit of discomfort after second Bristol 4 maybe 5 bit of pain during and went up to a 4/5 after so plainly need to be going just 1 BM a day still working on how to achieve that though.
I did an aerobics class yesterday morning after my first BM drank more water so am wondering if all the movement (first time in a year since fissure) triggered an extra BM. I feel like I should work for CSI or something I'm questioning everything lol.
Yes HTD i do apply coconut oil and other creams externally will be trying a new concoction later of coconut oil manuka and oregano oil. Oh ok what standing postures do you do must admit would be nice to do yoga again...I have been doing the locust and cobra but that's all that I have been brave enough to try lol.

You know I have really limited my exercise to walking and yoga style standing stretches. I find running makes me hurt more with BM. See how you do with BM frequency when you do non aerobic relaxing stretches style of things. Also Bristol 3 is on the hard side isn't it? Is the first BM a little hard? If so try a little oil with the meals if that's ok for ur IBS. It makes the stool tip soft. I take a tsp of coconut or olive oil a couple of times a day.
Hang in there friend. Have a decent week - thinking of u and wishing u the very best

Well had a good weekend a bit of pain but never above a 4 and mostly pain free.
Yes my first BM the other day was quite hard but I think that was down to being dehydrated, it didn't hurt during or after though, so I'm wondering if maybe the runnier BMs are more acidic or something and maybe burn or irritate the fissure...again just guessing as to why a hard BM didn't hurt but a watery BM did.
My fitness has deteriorated so much since I had this fissure I'm just trying to get some back and maybe feel like I'm in control a little lol. Swimming this morning and maybe some body con after will see how I feel...I would def stop if I felt any discomfort though.
Oh well here's to another week hoping it's as pain free as possible

Yay!!that sounds like a weekend of progress. Glad you are getting to do the gym time without too much pain. Especially swimming which I am sure you enjoy a lot. The runnier BMs definitely sting more. Hopefully things stay quiet this week with your fissure and you keep at the fitness training; admire you for doing that. You inspire me to slowly intensify my exercise .

I kind of reached a point where I figured I could have this for life so like my IBS decided I was going to carry on doing what I did before it started...obviously avoiding things I know hurt it...no doing the splits anymore just to show off in yoga lol. I feel more down when it stops me doing things but so far haven't had many bad days like a pain above a 6 I doubt I would do much on those days.
No gym today lots of work. But did do the body con yesterday and my arms are killing...also had the itchy burning yesterday evening but it's gone now thankfully.

Wow! I never could do the split- not even when I was in the best shape for me in the 20s, so you would be one of those in my yoga class that I secretly envied :)
I am still inspired by you - mean to do more but like you said the work makes it difficult. Hopefully the psyllium is still working for you? Stay strong !
