UPDATE
Going through a bad patch at the moment. I think it is down to stress. With my partner's niece dying suddenly a few weeks ago stress has been building. My partner's anxiety/temper has been sky high at times and that is always the trigger for me so I am tight down there. I am taking the view that this is just a 'blip' and am doing all I can to relax. Then I came across this video which helped me today. Made a really difficult bowel movement just fractionally better. Which as we know can make a huge difference to the rest of the day. Would love to hear other peoples opinions.

Dear UKMan,
my deepest sympathies ...

it might take some days to calm back your anal pressure but im sure that deep breathing will help to be back on track...
I am doing squatty potty so have no idea about this method.

Peace and sending you strength with Isaiah 41:10

hello UKMAN,
no , its out of question to butcher more my anus and create more scar tissue...

One member recently mentioned his post surgery chronic pains and also his narcissistic surgeon told to him: NEVER GET ANOTHR ANAL SURGERY!

Rich44 was lucky with his micro surgeon top of the list that did surgery and healed in 3 weeks....
many are left with anal stenosis and colostomy bags after hem and fissures surgeries.....

Last week and this one have been brutal mentally and with difficult BM

I wish Hazey123 member could come and give her support- she was also injured with fissure after anoscopy and before with skin removal surgery that caused her fissures and tight anal sphincter

The mental strain for me in the past was unbearable. Its crazy because the more stressed we get the worse it makes it. My sphincter IS GRADUALLY learning to relax. The mmm and ooo method of having a bowel movement is helping even more. I actually think i could of avoided the LIS if i had started pelvic floor physio and in addition used the mmm and ooo technique earlier. That being said I do not think I would have begun to heal without the skin tag removal. The skin tag was just causing to much problems. Even the Friendly Proctolagist admits he has come round to that way of thinking. What is your diet like at the moment? What are the other stressers in your life (if i can ask)?

impossible to sit. always irritated with walking. stools would catch on it. It was actually quite small but it certainly caused endless grief. i was so glad to have it gone!! Amitripelene helped and i still take it but hope to come off it eventually.

I am eating less but as Rich44 and you suggested - I have to continuer with normal stools to stretch my tight sphincter....
Currently I have spikes sensations when stool is passing and I have micro fissures of scar tissue on the right side where the massive fissure was created(it was massive cause i felt lin pulsating inside my for 7 months straight)...so those pikes are making scar tissue abrasions - injuries - cause if i try slightly wash with the soup after BM - i get sensations of fresh paper cuts- so i know that there are micro fissures- sometimes they are even visible outside - red lines(but not bleeding....las April when massive anoscopy injury was performed- gyneco loaded massively my anus with prednison (sheriproct) cream outside and inside and afterwards injury happened and then steroid hydrocortisone (proctosynalar) cream was us for 3 weeks - and it thinned my skin massively - thats why my skin so so fragile ..... I was on phone with my psychologist today but afterwards nervous breakdown continued.... im into my 3rd year with huge injuries one after another- first with torn tendons, then frozen shoulder, then double tendonitises elbow and shoulder and then this final injury on 10 April just sent me into hell of hells i never imagined !!!! i came home crying- people were watching and I am not able to sleep anymore.... where there is no BM - i ffeel kinda okeyish (new normal) but once BM comes I being thrown again into horrors of never healing fissures .....
