Fiss -
Is it yellowish or blood tinged? Yes, call him to check it out as soon as possible. Your right - I also think it would be very odd for an infection to show up in a day. Do you feel feverish at all? What part of the surgery is this area from? why would you have a tag in the 12 o clock position? I thought your fissure was in the 6 o clock position?
Everything is going to be fine!

Hi Jen - thanks for asking and trying to help me out XOXO ! It is white line, white as a milk and thin and I tried to touch it with a q-tip and felt no pain. Some tiny film of something stayed on a q-tip, maybe it was there before the soak and than after soak became detached - I don't know. No blood and really white-white - does not look like puss from the pimple , for example, really hard to compare to anything : (, not much of it either. I did not press much because the cut is there so I was afraid to injure it or something. I will check tomorrow morning under day-light and will use my magnifying glass- I forgot abut it (doi !!!) since those pain pills make me really "slow" Image LOL.
I had 2 tags Jen Image. Both appeared after the LIS, one BIG one on the place of a fissure and one smaller one at 12 O'clock position. They were also different in structure. 6 was thick and bulbous, 12 thin and as a skin flap. This CRS had different explanation about skin tags and their formation Image - it looks like they all have their own theories Image. All in all - he did understand how uncomfortable they can be and that they can cause pain and inflammation and told me that if fissure does never heal completely , they can grow and grow over the years and be as big as a half of a pinky Image ( he saw those), so I am glad I took them away - just hope that they heal without the problem.
I took the temp. - no fever at all , actually it is 97.2 . And it does not hurt - that is why I am wondering Image . I will see how it goes in the morning buddy and will let you know ! Having period does not help with inspections either : (, I now have NO idea what is bleeding or not bleeding - one whole mess !!!!
Thanks for concern and advice :'\;redbud: XOXO

Beautiful story girl, I guess you found comfort in having us there and knew that we thought of you. Nothing wrong with your imagination I can see.
You are a warm and loving woman Fiss Image
Difficult to give advice since I haven't had LIS, etc., but since you have had 3 things done it should be normal to be in pain for a while.
One thing I thought of was: Shouldnt you use a tampon during your period now? Isn't it wise to keep your butt dry and clean while healing from surgery?

Image dear Fissy,

so glad you're doing ok. I love your story - you must have felt all our prayers and get well vibes we were sending to you.

I think, for peace of mind, you should get the white discharge looked at. Its probably nothing to worry about but an infection is always best caught early. When i had my fistula, the skin tag had a white line at the top, and that bit didn't hurt. Its always best to be safe than sorry!

Get well soon buddy,

Fiss -
Get it checkout out. However, After my surgery, I noticed something similar. My cut in the back (you know from my PIS, not LIS) had some whiteish stuff in it, I took a Q-tip and realised it was not fluid at all. It was either muscle fibers or new tissue growth. The weird thing was - it was white, not like milk, but still white. It has gone away, and I am sure now it was not an infection. I think it was just a part of the healing process. The muscle on that side of the sphincter is closer to the surface and gets less blood supply.
Does your situation sound anything like this?

But that did not stop me thinking and praying for you Fiss Image
The tea party went ahead as promised – see Kims birthday thread –
I chimed in and prayed so hard for you, I made fruity tea and sat for a good while thinking of you…

Good riddance to bad rubbish is what I say…the only way is up that’s for sure! Image
I was thinking about you all while I was there - and how I could not - the first nurse that got me was called Mollie - I thought - this is my Lecia thinking of me. Than came nurse with scrubs printed with funny cats all over and I thought - this is my "Tubby" in disguise lol, than came "sweet dreams" guy to introduce himself - needles to say he was reddish-blond lol - Kim came to "put me out" . When we came to register the sweetest blond helped me sign all of those papers - it was my Val Than very upbeat nurse came to wheel me in and was upset that she doctor was not in his station and she was buzzing up and down and finally "paged him" displeased that he is not punctual and I thought - this must be Jen taking care that all is done properly ! Than she wheeled me in the op room and nice nurse greeted me calmly and comforted me -it was JO . Cheryl was in post op room, checking my vitals . Corsi was the admin. girl who asked me "do I like the US with a wink" and BG gave me nice ride to my car LOL - very cool gal with slick hair who reminded me to take it easy and take those soaks religiously !!!
Juney took a day off lol, who would blame her

WOW…This made me cry Image

I am sorry Fiss, you are scared and worried. We have had a lot of lightning here and my stuff isn't posting and my connection keeps crashing.

I can't imagine that you would have an infection already and it is probably drainage from the surgery. Particularly if it isn't tender to the touch but like Jen says, for peace of mind I would call.

I am sure you are in a lot more pain this time around since you had so much done and please don't compare it to last time. I think for you to get better they needed to do more stuff and cut more deeply so that it would solve everything once and for all. Maybe first LIS was a breeze because they hardly did a thing!

I've been praying for you and asking God to please heal you completely and let this be it for you. Your butt has been through a lot and we all know how traumatic it can be so time will be a great healer. It can just feel like we are watching grass grow.

Sorry you lost your last post. Can you give us a synopsis?

LOVE YOU BUDDY Image Image Image Image Image
You said all the right things ...you are absolutely right ...but it is so darn hard
to go through all that pain again and worry on top of everything was it even a right decision :( . I know that this is "pain" talking out of me - and that I should be patient ...I am just sooo tiered buddy ...so tiered of it all...
My post was not about my pain at all actually - I just wrote a small "love letters" to you all individually - I just wanted you all to know how much you mean to me - and all just disappeared. It is hard for me to type in this position, trying to cut off my meds since they make me too sleepy. So, that is why I got upset - I know I will not be bale to write it all again and tell it all as I did - but it is OK, I hope you all already know how much I love you !!! Image Hope you are doing well buddy ?! Image

Don't try to wean to early off the pain meds. When the pain becomes great then desperation comes a calling and we don't want that!

My daughter saw your picture and asked if you were real and I said yes, you were real. She asked what your name was and I told her and she said that's a pretty name!!!

I know how tired you are of all of this but you have to reserve your energy and let your body take care of itself. My doctor told me to give it 6 weeks before I decided whether or not it was a success or if I was satisified with the results. Your surgery was the day before yesterday and this can feel worse because all the GA is leaving your body and it makes you more uncomfortable.

I have had some good days but had to take pain medicine today which was a bummer but I am trying to focus on the future and that I have things still to come to help give me more good days.
