glad to hear you got through it ok ! At least there was a reason for all your pain and the reason has been rectified. Wishing you a very speedy recovery and hope you feel better very soon.
Yes, we have all been wondering how it went, Lars! Good job!! You are going to be in some pain for a few days and very sore down there for some time after that. Just rest, relax, watch movies or play some good video games, whatever you do indoors! Don't sit directly on your tail for the next month, at least, no more than you have to!
good luck on the healing process lars! i'm almost one month out from my fissurectomy now and i can tell you, kim's right - don't sit unless you have to! i still avoid sitting. i tried to eat a meal at the table for the first time since surgery today and it hurt. i sit on a pillow in the car if i have to drive. it will probably take awhile to heal, but w/ 3 months off from work, you're prepared for that. take lots of hot baths, that has really helped me with the pain. i'm down to 3 a day now. i'll keep letting you know how i'm doing, as we had very similar surgeries. i hope we both heal and are normal soon enough!! congrats on making it thru surgery, that's the first step.
Lars Nice to hear all went well and always good to know the reason for not healing! Its your time for you to be better now Wishing you happy healing ! xx
I am so glad all is over and behind you and that you got a proper treatment at last . Take it easy now, and be patient - it will take time to heal but now it WILL heal and you will be able to have your life back . Be diligent with your diet and baths and it all ! Happy Healing Lars
Glad to hear you your doctor found the reason for your not healing. :c6nra: It will take some time to heal but this will be healing pain and not the interminable pain that you are used to.
